This hotel was amazing from start to finish! The room was beautiful, super clean and smelled great. Everything is brand new and well maintained. The staff was also extremely kind and welcoming! Check in and check out was super easy. Nice area to walk around the hotel on Michigan Ave. Would love to stay here again!(:

We had an absolutely incredible experience! We stayed in town for the Pistons Game. The rooms are clean, gorgeous, and comfortable. We loved the various lighting features throughout the bathroom and bedroom. The rooftop bar is a gem! All staff was really helpful and friendly. Within walking distance of several cool bars and restaurants.

Had a great stay at the Godfrey! Room was nice and spacious and the rooftop bar was good too with great service. We parked on the street instead of valet which was easy and there was plenty of free street parking across the street. Hotel is walking distance to many bars and dining options. I will say the rooftop bar is mainly small plates and apps so if you’re looking for a full dinner spread I’d recommend Ottava Via across the street.

My overall stay was great. The front desk staff was nice and pleasant. The room was nice and comfortable. I celebrated my birthday up stairs at I/O rooftop. It was most definitely a vibe. I also ate brunch at the Hamilton, and the food was delicious especially the waffles. FYI make sure if you are utilizing the Valet service, be sure to check your car for any damages. When my husband and I was about to leave. He noticed the fender of his car was hit. We had to file an incident report with the Valet manager. We are currently waiting for a response. Besides the incident with the car. My overall stay was a 4/5

Hotel and restaurant staff added charges not knowing how to rectify them. They are still not rectifying. Information from staff to staff not the same which occurred in confusion and extra charges that we were not planning on for our stay. Restaurant food over priced with very small portions. Issue also with valet parking and our vehicle

On the day of arrival, I attempted to call the front desk regarding a pending charge on my CC, but the email said to pay upon arrival. There was no answer when I called - twice. It was VERY loud all night due to the jake breaks from passing semi-trucks. The restaurant upstairs was very uncomfortable in the small chairs and the service took quite a while. We ended up leaving before we had breakfast. The valet on the morning of check out took about 20 minutes which is longer than expected. We could see our vehicle and there were not a lot of guests checking out at the time. Beautiful hotel but there are a few kinks to work out as a new hotel.
