The stay at The Henderson Beach Resort was wonderful. The property was clean, the staff was accommodating and everything was convenient. Only a short walk to the beach, and you will have to pay for chairs - but if you plan to spend the day it's well worth it. We made the trip from South Florida and would certainly stay again.

Yes, Hotel is wonderful, except: No toilet paper was left (we were done to a partial roll, got another one by interrupting the housekeeper (after our room was cleaned). No towels left on a different day. When checking in we asked to go over any additional fees and have them explained, yet we were still charged over $350 MORE than they stated. We asked at check in for specifics so we would have no surprise charges, and they insured us of all additional charges, yet over $350 more than they explained. We did not eat/drink anything in the room including the water or coffee, and we used the self parking (that fee was explained to us). WHY ADDITIONAL FEES THAT WERE NOT EXPLAINED. Hotel /resorts have got to be held more accountable. There was no water in the pool (it was January as well as, the pool area was under construction and had yellow caution tape all around), so obvisously the extra resort fee should be adjusted during months of construction and or pool not being maintained during off season months. I pay resort fee for a feature not even available? Although we like the room (did not eat at resort), I would not pay the amount I did again with all the extra FEES. Especially since we asked to have any fees explained PRIOR to checking in. Seems like ALL FEES SHOULD BE EASILY SEEN AND EXPLAINED BEFORE CHARGING YOUR GUESTS. Why would we even ask if we just wanted you to tack on an additional $350 that we are unaware what it is for?
