Hyatt House Dallas Uptown

Great location.., close to American Airlines Center. Good option for a Mavericks game. Fair breakfast.. Big and comfortable room. I’ll stay again..!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. When you pay over $200 for a night you expect a certain quality - this was motel quality. It was run down, outdated, and in need of repairs. Hot tub does not work. The stairs had such a pungent urine smell that you were forced to take the sketchy elevator - which at one point started moving while I was walking onto it before the doors had even closed. The lighting in the bathroom is horrendous. There was a gaping hole cut in our popcorn ceiling with a sprinkler system shoved through it. There was also a sketchy panel in the shower ceiling? Not sure what that was about. The icing on the cake was our room not being ready at check in at 3. I was not trying to check in early. The staff couldn't even give me an estimate on when it would be ready. It ended up being ready 30 minutes later, but that's 30 minutes of my time wasted while I was paying for that room. Overall unacceptable.

The rooms that I saw there needed repair. The kitchen faucet was about to fall off. Loud vehicle noises most of the night. We are breakfast twice at the hotel and there were never any plates for us to use. There was a terrible smell in the hall way exit to the elevators and in the elevators. I would not stay here again.

This property should be condemned by Hyatt. It is in terrible disrepair. They had a sign in the lobby that said, please pardon our dust during remodeling, which was the understatement of the year. They just need to demolish the whole building. Can’t see through windows because the seals have failed. Trim around doors held on with sheet rock screws. Kitchen cabinets won’t open because wrong size refrigerator is installed in. There is no clearance. Furniture is dilapidated. I’ve stayed at roadside motels in the middle of nowhere which were nicer. I checked in, walked up and looked at my room, turned around and checked it out. We booked a corporate event here and had to move the event because we were embarrassed by the hotel.

Hyatt completely overbooked the hotel. They "upgraded" me from a king suite to a room with 2 full beds. Hotel is under renovation with no notice. The other guest in my party was not not allowed to check in and was moved to another hotel with no notice after he arrived

Everything about our stay was disappointing. I understand when a business is going through renovations that things are a little messy but out room was very disappointing. We had black duct tape on our windows and a set in stain on our bedding. The bed was in horrible condition and was extremely uncomfortable. If I had booked a room at a value rate, I understand these things. However, this room was not at a value rate and I was very disappointed.

Lots of renovations, but also visibly dirty floors throughout the building and in the rooms. We were told that breakfast would be served until 10am, but they really stopped serving way before that and by 9:30am when we went down we got whatever wasn't already picked through.

Værelserne på hyatt house var meget slidte og airconditioningen larmede virkelig meget. Det var svært at sove uden ørepropper med aircondition tændt. Servicen var god i receptionen, men vi måtte flere dage spørge til manglende basic ting til morgenmaden. Vi måtte også spørge til rengøringen af poolen, som så ret beskidt ud, men der sendte de en ud og gjorde den ren. Alt i alt en middelmådig oplevelse, men ok ift prisen.
