柯達雅度假飯店(Kandaya Resort)

Is this a good hotel? Yes, it is. Rooms at spa kid and clean, internet speed is surprisingly fast for the 🇵🇭. The hotel is also very expensive, here you are paying USA prices. The hotel is beach front but the beach is only for show since us full of jellyfish and by full I mean full, they are abundant and everywhere. If you jump on the water expert to be hit by at least a couple of them. The pool is amazing, one of my favorite during our 3 months trip and to many hotels around the country. The food is average, nothing to call home about. The staff is friendly for the most part.

我們在坎達亞瑞奧特酒店度過了一段愉快的時光。從接待處到 Kusina 餐廳，工作人員都非常出色。非常適合情侶和家庭。房間很棒，設施齊全。非常舒適和乾淨的房間。地方有健身房、按摩服務運動區（網球）騎馬、沙灘車和水上活動。菜單方面，品種不是很多，但我應該說，足夠好。價格明智，合理。位置，在宿霧以北有點遠，但絕對值得一遊，我們很快就會再回去。

很棒的地方，有迷人、有禮貌、友善的員工。很棒的餐廳，提供美味的菲律賓美食和體面的國際菜單。作為一個五口之家，我們在花園泳池別墅住了一晚，在更大的海景泳池別墅住了兩晚。兩棟別墅都非常好，海景泳池別墅比其他別墅大一點。享受私人游泳池和大海游泳。早餐選擇豐富，晚餐也不錯。 ATV 很有趣，孩子們（12、16、18 歲）喜歡槳板和皮划艇。遊戲室也很棒。總而言之，這是一次很棒的經歷。

難怪這家酒店是這個鎮上最好的酒店。優雅，服務一流，工作人員知識淵博且友好。一切都很完美。離開菲律賓四年後最受歡迎的家。這家酒店非常出色。名叫馬克的員工為我們提供了出色的服務。所有的東西也都做得很好。

We spent 3 nights at this resort in one of the beach front pool chalets and had a nice stay. The staff were friendly and the service was quite good. This is a great resort if you are not looking for water sports. If you want to swim, snorkel and enjoy the beach this is not the best option. The beach is really not great and at low tide it is not swimmable. The main pool was dirty so we got out quickly. Also, the area was very arid and all the grass/plants were dead. I am sure during the rainy seasons the feel of the resort is much different but all the yards surrounding our room were dead so it wasn't beautiful looking. We did take the boat trip to the private beach on Malapascua which was a fun day out. The beach is not private and is actually on the main beach in Malapascua but it has beautiful sand and very clear water. We didn't mind having lots of people on the beach but if you are looking for a 'private' beach this is not it. They do own a plot of land behind the beach with chairs, bathrooms, bbq area which is quite nice. There are restaurants closeby for lunch and it is a fun day out. Our boat captain made our day very enjoyable and we did lots of snorkelling and swimming. So overall we had a fun stay at this resort but we would not visit this resort again. If you are into water sports I would suggest to just stay on Malapascua Island and use that as your base.

The family (2 Adults & 2 Teen girls) voted Kandaya their favorite Resort to date. Stayed there from April 13-16, 2023. The Upside: it has a beautiful beach & Ocean, large pool, beautiful grounds, very clean, great beds, many activities (Jetski, ATV, Archery, Horses, etc.), very good food and drinks, nice indoor and outdoor dining -- with entertainment on Friday an Saturday nights; great friendly staff, & reasonable price. Rooms were very clean and modern. The Downside: About 3.5 hour non-stop limo drive from Central Cebu City to northern tip of Cebu Island. They only give you One (1) Room Access Card which can be a problem if your family are not all doing the same activities or may need to go back to the room at different times. I have never had a resort or hotel, 1-Star or 5-Stars, that refused to issue multiple room access cards. At the time I was there, the Spa was not fully operational due to renovations with only in-room massages. We plan to return and enjoy the Kandaya Resort in the future.

One of the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives and find a relaxing vacation spot that can take us away from it all. The place is beautiful, and there are lots of near attractions or activities from the resort. The staffs are friendly and accommodating! 🥰 Highly recommended!!
