Do not stay at the Yacht Villa in Danang or deal with Mr. Troung Quoc Huy. We paid for the accommodation and deposit, which was expensive for Vietnam. After our stay and when we were checking out, Mr. Troung Quoc Huy informed us that there was no damage to the Villa and deposit would be returned in full. However, Troung Quoc Huy also said that their machine wasn't working and confirmed in writing that the deposit would be returned in 3-5 days. On 2 January, we received a hand written form, which was apparently a request to their bank to transfer back the deposit to our credit card. The also used two machines at check in, one in the name of the Villa and another in the name of Nguyen Thi Nhu Mai. Being trusting people, we didn't think this would be a problem. That said, and after multiple requests to Mr. Troung Quoc Huy, he is refusing to assist and return the money. We have contacted our bank, namely HSBC, and they have confirmed no money has been received nor has there been a request made. It's a shame these individuals think they can scam tourists, but I hope this review saves you from the same predicament.
