流浪者飯店(El Andariego)

ElAndariego is a nice, comfortable place off the street in a local area near the Plaza. Breakfast is good and there is attractive outdoor seating available. One room I was in had a fireplace (!). Hot water is available, but takes a bit to kick in. Not being in the tourist epicenter, there are a lot of local stores and services in the area: groceries, laundry etc. I had a shave in a salon around the corner--Ruth's--for 10 soles. Only beef I have with ElAndariego is that it doesn't provide drinking water; you have to buy their bottles. Overall, I would definitely stay again.

We only stayed 1 quick night after a long trek in the Andes. But this hotel was lovely. Amazing location right in the center. Being set back in a courtyard it's really quiet, despite the crazy city just outside. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs to order and yummy coffee. Yes the room was chilly and the hot water is a problem all over Cusco. This is a high altitude city after all. Though we had no problem with the water in the morning, it was hot quickly and did not run out. Wifi worked great. Bed was comfortable and lots of blankets provided. We had a much needed good night of sleep. I would stay here again for sure!

Breakfast & the location was great, we had to cancel the reservations because there wasn’t any heat. The weather was cold and rainy, cold air came inside the room from the door & bathroom window which didn’t seal/close properly. Large black spider visited us & we had to report no hot water… maintenance came ran water for ＞5minutes, ran sink & shower & flushed toilet to make water lukewarm. Front desk clerk was amazing & completely understood our needs, cancelled balance of reservations. Just know there’s no heat, nor air conditioner.

Overall the staff were helpful and it's situated close to the main plaza BUT in the three days I was there only the cold shower was working (no hot water in the other faucet), very inconvenient especially during winter. Ditto for the room heater. In fact they had to give me a portable heater. Also, the cable was not working, in addition to the wi-fi. I could only get wi-fi service in the courtyard. Still, despite all this, I still had to pay the full price, even though half of the amenities be were non- functional.

L’hotel est dans une petite cours au calme en plein milieu de Cusco. Super sympa. Il est bien situé à proximité du centre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est bonne. Il y a un radiateur dans chaque chambre. Par contre nous avons eu un problème d'eau chaude que la réception a vite résolu.

Óptimo: cómodas habitaciones, desayuno desde hora temprana, variado y abundante, buena conexión de wifi y una atención cálida y profesional del personal de recepción. Muy cercano (500 metros) a la Plaza de Armas, en una barriada tranquila y silenciosa por las noches. Altamente recomendable!!
