皇家橡樹飯店(The Royal Oak Hotel)

Had a lovely overnight stay in the Royal Oak this week. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with hot shower. Toiletries top quality with beautiful fluffy towels.Ate in the dining room and enjoyed the extensive choice of food on the menu. Have eaten here before and left clean plates. All food locally sourced by the hotel. Had a good night's sleep and enjoyed a cooked breakfast in the morning. Again breakfast food locally sourced and so delicious. Plenty of cold food on offer too for those who do not want a cooked breakfast. Owner and staff are lovely.Helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation in the Cullen area. A great experience.

We had a really delicious lunch at The Royal Oak. The scampi was really good. Other members of the family had fish cakes which they really enjoyed. The service was great and we will definitely be back. Thank you very much for a lovely lunch. It was all very easy and efficient from booking to paying the bill. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed weekend, could not be better. We were late travelling up but Brenda went out of her her way to keep kitchen as late as they could to accommodate us. We arrived just in time and were served lovely meal. Breakfast too was very good but best of all was that all the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel room was on the small side but clean and cozy. Short walk to the beach or into the village. Also golf course five minutes walk. Highly recommended

A really wonderful bar & restaurant, the staff are amazing, they were so friendly and the service was fantastic. We were on a week's holiday and ate their twice and the food was really great. Lovely for a drink and dogs welcomed! A must if you are in Cullen.

Stopped for lunch with friends. Waitress with overpowering and unpleasant perfume. A quiet place with just a few customers. Service ok but nothing special. Food typical of small hotels in Scotland - no imagination and average at best. Coffee was ok. Prices out of proportion.

This is a lovely friendly place to have a drink or eat some lovely food. Staff were all very friendly and even laughed off an incident with some rogue tomato ketchup. This was in keeping with Cullen which is a beautiful wee town and definitely worth a visit.

We booked a table for 6 for 1pm, seated straight away with a warm welcoming from the staff. We all had 3 courses of various selections and we were not disappointed. Food was hot, tasty and plenty of it. The dining room was busy but staff were calm and efficient. No photos as we got stuck in too quick.

Stayed here for two nights, lovely hotel, lovely staff and fantastic location, Breakfast aplenty, the poached eggs were just perfect and plenty to choose from, fresh fruit, cereals, or cooked breakfast. Had dinner one night, good choices on menu. Beach is two minutes away, very clean. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Bel hôtel, chambres cosy. Possibilité d’avoir du chauffage dans la chambre même en juillet ! Nous avons mangé un excellent Cullen Skink (spécialité locale - soupe de poisson au lait). Réserver de preference le restaurant de l’hotel car la ville n’en compte quasi aucun autre…
