I booked this hotel for a week. The very first night, it stormed and water started pouring in through the top of my window. I immediately notified the front desk in to which she just seemed confused and wasn’t much help. I asked if I could switch rooms and she said she would ‘text’ management and ask. I never got a reply for her for a while. She eventually came back to my room and said I couldn’t switch rooms till the next day and put a bunch of towels on the window sill and on the carpet. The room wasn’t cleaned properly either— along with the completely SHREDDED comforter they had on the bed. Why would you keep that there? The next day I asked the gentleman at the front desk if I could switch rooms, he kindly switched me. When I got to the new room, the handle in the shower was broke, the closet door was off the track leaning against the wall, none of the phones in either of the rooms worked, and to top it off there was a ROACH crawling across the desk. I have never felt so disgusted and uncomfortable at a hotel stay before. Not to mention, they didn’t do housekeeping once even when I asked them to when they came around to their ‘weekly’ housekeeping. If you need towels, you have to take yours downstairs and exchange them and the person doing it will act annoyed because you interrupted their FaceTime call with their friend. You also have to walk your trash to the dumpster. The staff was nothing but lazy and disrespectful.
