芝加哥中途機場萬楓套房飯店(Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago Midway Airport)

My experience was very comfortable there I didn’t do much but relax while I was there. Eat breakfast in the morning and ordered dinner later in the day.

Breakfast was good and wasn't too far from Midway airport (can walk it but would advise to take the shuttle). Was clean and although the pool was a little small it was still nice. Overall, very satisfied and would stay here again.

It’s very close to the airport and even has a shuttle to take you there. The rooms have double beds standard, which is tiny to share with someone. The rooms were clean but the outside area around the hotel is not a good part of Chicago at all. So I wouldn’t suggest walking around, especially at night. I understand that it is close to the airport, but the room definitely wasn’t worth the rate they were charging.

Aside from the friendly staff, this hotel was a horrible experience. The main entrance was closed because the overhang started crumbling, making it unsafe to walk under. The main floor and the elevator always smelled like a garbage dump. The elevator floors were also always sticky. My first room smelled like cigarettes. The AC was also very loud and wouldn't shut off. It was March, so I tried setting it to heat but it would always switch back. I kept waiting and waiting for their engineers to come fix it but they never did. So (very late at night) I ended up having to switch rooms. This new room smelled like mold and between 2-4am my neighbor was blasting his tv and yelling at it too... it was the yelling, more than anything, that was keeping me up. When I tried calling the front desk about it, there was no answer.

I want a refund for the room I stayed in because the room smelled like mildew and the carpet was wet. I let the front desk know and she told me that they were booked up and I had to stay there.

This hotel insisted on getting my credit card, although fully paid for and tacked on a parking fee of $24. I have stayed in another hotel in this location, and no parking fee was charged.
