Ich hatte ein einfaches, aber dennoch comfortables Zimmer und habe mich dort alleine sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Bett ist super bequem und alles war ordentlich und sauber. Zunächst war kein Klopapier vorhanden, das aber auf Nachfrage sofort bereitgestellt wurde, ein Mal funktioniere die Spülung nicht, aber nach ein bisschen warten war alles wieder gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man hört jedes Mal wenn die Flurtür geöffnet wird und wenn die Verdunklungsrollos nicht zu unten sind, kann man sehr gut von anderen Zimmern aus in das eigene Zimmer schauen. Nichts desto trotz habe ich mich sehr wohlgefühlt und würde wiederkommen.

Avoid coming here if you are not a deep sleeper. Me and my girlfriend came here for a long weekend visit to Cork. Unfortunately this was at the same time as a noisy group of lads that they'd put us in the same apartment as. I found it difficult to get any sleep due to the constant door slamming and shouting. Fortunately they had gone on the Monday so I got my sleep. The rooms are good with a brilliant view of the stream and the kitchen facilities are clean. The staff are also very friendly it's just the group lads that kind of ruined it a little.

Filthy kitchen ,could not sleep due to tiny bed hot and stuffy only suited for students left after a day to River Lee hotel next door which was wonderful, They totally refused to refund our money, so travellers beware

We travelled from New Zealand with other family to attend our grandson's wedding in Ireland. All of us then joined them on the "honeymoon" a trip around Southern Ireland. Our accommodation in Cork was Amnis House a student hostel for Cork University. There were 7 of us and we had an apartment complex with four bedrooms, each with en-suite plus a kitchen/dining/lounge area. The rooms were an adequate size with fresh, clean linen and towels. The location was good, right near a bus stop. There is no carpark which was a bit of a nuisance but they did have an agreement with a close-by car park which we used for a discounted rate. We found reception very good and there was no trouble replacing teas, coffees, toiletries etc.

This is student accommodation, which I knew when I booked it. So it's basic but clean. There was no soap or shower gel which we didn't expect, but not a huge deal. Main issue is this place is loud at night. So if you're a light sleeper bring ear plugs. There was people talking until 5 am and I could hear them on their balconies. Also all the rooms are in dorms, so you can hear other occupants in the communal areas. I wouldn't come again if I'm honest, but only because of the noise. Apart from that it was fine. This place would probably be a good option for a group.

Stayed on the 3rd floor of one of the blocks, in a double room. The room itself was ok I guess but the managers have skimped on the most basic things - such as a wastepaper bin and hangers in the wardrobe. In addition, the lift was broken and we weren't warned on checking in. The room is in a shared 'apartment' with a lounge/kitchen area which is really poorly equipped with just one glass and one cup amongst up to 12 people. In addition, the furniture was really dirty and stained. In general, the people on reception were pleasant but the place is clearly under-staffed. I asked for cups and glasses three times and they never arrived. I asked to borrow an iron twice - staff couldn't find one. I mentioned heavy bags and asked when the lift would be fixed - probably not before you check out I was told, with no offer of help. So in short - ok for school tours but if you're an adult and want somewhere with even a very basic level of service (such as to be able to drink from a cup or hang up clothes), I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.
