曼達林唯逸度假村(One&Only Mandarina)

I’ve never written a review for any of our prior vacations; however, One & Only Mandarina has set itself apart. First and foremost, our host, Alfredo, made our vacation incredible. We went for our babymoon, and he was always one step ahead of our needs and constantly surprising us with the most thoughtful gestures (pregnancy pillow, special treats for mama-to-be’s cravings, and baby gifts for the baby on her way… just to name a few). The resort was gorgeous, albeit expansive (requiring golf cart rides everywhere on the property). The treehouse was spacious and beautiful. The views were gorgeous. The meals at the restaurants were delicious. Everything was perfect!

Service! Setting! Wow The setting is just spectacular but more than that is the authentic and warm service. Everyone is just there to please—from Ivan at the ocean to Fernando at breakfast — warm and wonderful service. The spa is spectacular with amazing massage and mud bath. The food and drinks are top notch too.

We stayed in 2bd Tortuga villa with 2 kids. Excellent new property, unique jungle. Very good service, fast, smart, attentive, enough trained personnel that became rare even in top luxury hotels after the pandemic. We were concerned about big waves in the ocean (which is common in these types of resorts) but a special pier makes waves small and very comfortable. Also buggies are an advantage as they are very convenient and there are 100 villas that are far from each other so you have the unique feeling that you are alone on the hill. General Manager Serge Ditesheim and his team are doing a great job to deliver extraordinary experience. Highly recommend visiting before there is a direct flight to Puerto Vallarta from Europe as it will raise demand and prices.

We just finished a wonderful 4 days at the One&Only in Narayit. Some impressions: the 75 minute ride from the airport is worth it! The setting is about 100 rooms carved into the volcanic hill side / cliffs of Mandarina. All the rooms seem to be outstanding, private, ultra cool treehouses on stilts. As good as any we have started in anywhere. The panoramic ocean view definitely worth the splurge. We were lucky to call Room 324 our home. A staff favorite for good reason. Food was generally excellent. Alma the lesser of three three choices. Cárao the best dining experience with more local flare. Allora great on the beach Italian choice. The staff were uniformly excellent. Whatever wrinkles were referenced seem to have been ironed out. The biggest star is the setting. Truly unique. Nothing quite like it anywhere. Singita’s lodges can compare. To have something this exotic so close is a joy! So why four stars? The One&Only charge a service fee of 20% (!!) on top room and board and taxes. Payable before you arrive. The hotel says you can leave your wallet in your room as gratuities are included. The problem is that the service fee (which came in at ~$1,500), covered exactly nothing. Suggested gratuities, starting at 18%, are printed on every bill you get. From restaurants to the Spa to the beach bar. Add 20% to your 20%. It all felt a bit deceitful. Overall, a spectacular stay, despite the gouging.

Las camas muy cómodas y el excelente servicio, se los recomiendo Maravilloso ❣️❣️, el excelente clima te ayuda a relajarte, el servicio a cuarto muy bien, te relajas y aparte la arquitectura sus hermosos paisajes una vista espectacular si seriamente se los recomiendo, no me canso de seguir recomend****los🕶️🕶️🕶️🕶️

This place is incredible! We have traveled to Many of the 5 star luxury resorts in Mexico and lots in the us too- this is now our favorite resort in all of Mexico! The mix of beach and jungle makes it so special. You are surrounded by beauty everywhere you look. With your villas spread out and 4 pools to choose from everything felt super private. Food was delicious, I had the best pasta of my life. Truly a spectacular place with some of the nicest staff! The spa was lovely too. If you are considering going, don’t question it, just go! We loved it so much, we added an extra night. Such a gem!

Came here to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and spent 6 days/5 nights at O&O Mandarina. By far the nicest resort we’ve ever visited and best vacation we’ve ever had. Here a a few highlights: 1. The panoramic ocean treehouse. We splurged and got one of the best rooms at the resort. 180 degree gorgeous views of the ocean, beach club, and jungle. Spent a TON of time hanging on our deck, sunbathing, and dipping in the plunge pool. Room was just perfect. Worth the extra money. See attached pics 2. Our host Tomas was incredible. He booked us a wonderful itinerary when we arrived, scheduling a magical dinner every night. The highlight was eating at Chukker at the Equestrian Stables during a lightning storm. We opted for the 4 course tasting menu with a wine pairing. 3. The spa. Had two trea**ents here and loved it. If you are going with a partner, definitely get the Rainforest Romance trea**ent which includes mud bath, foot scrub, aromatherapy, and 60 minute massage. Worth every penny. Spa also includes a beautiful steam room, sauna, cold plunge, relaxation room, and private pool immersed in the jungle. 4. Private Transportation from the airport. We opted for the private Mercedes van provided by the hotel. We were greeted at the airport, offered complimentary drinks the entire ride, and wonderful conversation with our driver. What a great way to start the vacation! 5. Service - the hotel staff was incredible. From the reception desk, to the drivers, to the servers at the restaurants, every person we met was kind, humble, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs and make us feel special. For a special occasion, this hotel can’t be beat. Yes it’s pricey, but you only live once and in our opinion it was worth every penny. We will never forget this trip. Thanks to the O&O Mandarina for making our anniversary so memorable!
