Holiday Inn Express Columbus - Ohio Expo Center

Terrible communication Stay was supposed to be two nights. Breakfast the first morning. Out of eggs. Out of the cinnamon roll things they’re known for. Out of orange juice. No butter. Like so much missing. Then that day when I get back. The water is off!!! No notice no warning. No signs. Water is out. My faucet shot out black sludge that smelled terribly and then I couldn’t grab a shower after a long day. Asked for the second night refunded and I left.

The sidewalks had no salt down so very icy The parking lot had not had snow removal. The desk said they only had 2 cleaning people working Numerous people that came in after us got into their room before we were able to get in ours After 2 hours of this we questioned and they determined our room assigned to us was for handicapped which we did not need We were then told they had lots of rooms clean and they were able to get us a room

The entire property is need of repair. We travel to Columbus quite often and have never seen anything like this. The floor throughout the property is filthy at all times, the towel bar in our bathroom was hanging on by a thread and several floor tiles in the bathroom were loose. Unless you have no other choice, don't stay here.

Checked into our room, there was hair in the bathtub and on the counter in the bathroom. Not sure it had been cleaned at all.
