哥倫比亞喜來登城市中心飯店(Sheraton Columbia Downtown Hotel)

Shower hard to operate. No regular coffee in room, $200 deposit paid for incidentals at check in… today I have a bill charge taken out of $119.25, instead of the credit of $200 back . I had already paid the reservation in full to Trip.com before check in. Front desk staff was very rude during entire stay. Most problematic even still was that I did NOT have wifi connection during the entire stay! Had to use my cellular data in the room all during the night … front desk never resolved nor seemed concerned about not having wifi access , nor did they offer a solution or compensation. We sat out front of the hotel for over 3 hours trying to come up with the $200 credit card to “authorize” for incidentals. Not the best experience for my birthday or ever! Calling hotel now about the non return of my $200 and double paying for the room that we only in from 10:30 pm- 12:15 next day!

The building was built in 1912 but the hotel has been renovated and it’s clean. Cleanliness is my main concern.I can over look customers service and amenities but I cannot over look cleanliness.I will definitely book this hotel again whenever I am in Columbia. The rooftop bar is a plus the food was good. My husband almost have eaten his steak before the waitress brought(15minutes) the A1 sauce he requested when they brought our food to the table.

The front desk was extremely rude and did not even welcome my boyfriend and I when we arrived. I walked in and 3 of them were behind the desk gossiping and just stared at me when I walked in. When I asked to see if we could check in early, I got shut down immediately and she didn't even make time to even check. I'm honestly disappointed because I expected this hotel to be nice.

Nice hotel for price, but there was one problem to bring to your attention. We waiting more than 30 minutes to get our car from the Valet parking. The woman doing the Valet was great, but the job can't be done by 1 person. She would fetch a car and then literally run and top speed back to the parking garage (a bit of a hike). She said she had tried to contact her boss, MIA! This is a problem that should not have happened, please give the Valet parker some slack and put on more people. Thank you.

the property gave me a terrible room and when I asked why I had a sub-standard room I was told it was because I had booked on *******. it was a miserable night. thankfully it was only one night.

The hotel is extremely loud. We stayed on the third floor. There was a man yelling obscenities around 2 or 3am and we could clearly hear him. The hotel and room we’re very comfortable, however the noise made it uncomfortable and hard to sleep.

The entire staff during my stay, irrespective of which depar**ent they were in, were overly accommodating and very welcoming.

Enjoyed the rooftop bar, that also offered great dinner service. Really liked the view from the roof, as well as from our room. Great sunrise view, and downtown view. Liked having the option for room service. Enjoyed breakfast in the historical Vault, too!

The hotel is beautiful, the location is unbeatable. We ordered a king room and it was unfortunately so small. We ordered for our wedding night so it was a bit of a let down to not have the a gorgeous room to enjoy for our weekend. For the price, wish it was a bit more. Literally just enough room to walk around the bed. Wouldn't recommend the king room but would definitely book and try again with the hotel.
