科爾茨內克飯店(Colts Neck Inn Hotel)

Let me start by saying the staff is wonderful! And I also understand the owners design of the hotel. But that being said, it still needs major updates. The hallways are dark and dreary. With dust on the lights/fixtures/vents. It didn’t give me a old time charm, it gave me ******* feelings. Then when we got to the rooms, it was just okay. I like the rose, it’s a nice touch. I also think the toiletries provided were nice. But the mattresses are not cozy, they feel/sound like they are as old as the building. I have slept on better motel 6 beds. Also, the shower itself was falling apart. It was literally held together by tape in some spots. The continental breakfast was very underwhelming as well. Just bread, cereal, and packets of oa**eal. For $130 a night, you would think there would be something more than a red roof inn breakfast. I’d rate my stay probably a 6/10.

Historic building inside & out. Room was comfortable. Things in room not fixed (sink drain stopper). Not an easy way to charge modern technology. Have to unplug lamps. Stay was ok but would pass on staying there again.

Colts Neck has potential but it is tired. Everything needs updating. My biggest concern is the extremely poor lighting in the parking lot. The sheets were very rough. The window air conditioner was very loud, should be serviced or replaced. No comfortable seating in the room.

the bed was very broken down and uncomfortable. Charming building with tons of potential. Needs new beds desperately. Updating the blinds/windows is needed as well. TV is fine but on the smaller side. Fridge worked fine.

Hidden gem.

Historical site. Room was clean. Old battery operated room clock dead. Relaxing environment. Staff very helpful and professional.

This is my third stay at The Colts Neck Inn and l just love it there. It offers a lovely peaceful respite. The room’s amenities are great and the beds are so comfortable. Its all that you need for a break.

I was expecting more for an 8.6 rating. This seems to be a place people stay for a short visit. Still, the rooms are very dated. The mattress had a thick plastic cover on it rendering sleeping a noisy endeavor. Not sure how they could expect somebody to sleep on it. Took it off. Air system worked fine, but it's old. Thin walls. People walking above me in their room woke me up. Property is clearly aged. Breakfast was fine. They are trying with amenities, but many updates are needed. Showers are very old. Wifi needs better protection for working.

The staff was amazing. Room very clean and comfortable. Even had flowers in room for more home feel. This trip is yearly and this is the place I always stay!!!
