科隆鄰近Clarenbachkanal的飯店

Na onze fietstocht in Remagen waren wij op een zondagnmiddag rond 15.30 uur bij dit hotel gearriveerd. Na onze fietsen op het voetpad voor het hotel hadden gesteld en afgesloten, hebben wij ons gemeld bij de receptie van het hotel voor de incheckprocedure. De dame die dienst had onze gegevens toch vrij snel bij de hand. Ze moest nog informeren of de kamer beschikbaar was en dat nog niet het geval. Bij het inchecken hebben wij aangegeven dat wij met fietsen waren en die gezien de drukte op straat, graag wilden binnen zetten. Blijkbaar was dat toch een probleem en zie op een licht gebiedende toon dat wij moesten plaats nemen in fauteuils nabij de receptie tot onze kamer vrij zou komen. Nogmaals gezegd dat wij graag onze fietsen wilden binnen zetten. De dame was blijkbaar niet van zins daarop in te gaan. Eigenlijk hadden wij de indruk dat ze zicht niet zo klantvriendelijk tegen ons opstelde ten opzichte van andere gasten die aan de receptie stonden. Wij hebben dus niet plaatsgenomen in de aangewezen fauteuils, onze fietsen binnen gehaald en neergezet nabij de receptie. Mogelijk vond de dame dat niet zo fijn mede omdat de plaats waar de dame onze fietsen wilde hebben helemaal vol stond met bagage.. Haar mannelijke collage van de receptie die heel wat attenter en vriendelijker was, heeft nog wat zaken wat betreft de incheckprocedure met ons afgehandeld en ons daarna begeleid naar een ruimte van het hotel waar onze fietsen veilig konden worden gestald tijdens ons verblijf in dit hotel. Wij hebben een net kamer gekregen aan de achterzijde van het gebouw uitkijkend op een binnenplaats van meerdere gebouwen van dit blok. Niet erg weinig lawaai en een goed nachtrust verzekerd. De hotel- en badkamer waren voorzien van alle benodigde faciliteiten. Dat was prima in orde. Het ontbijt in buffetvorm was ruim voldoende om onze fietstocht voor te zetten. Het spijt mij dat ik de klantvriendelijkheid van de receptioniste helaas als negatief moet beoordelen en dat is toch eigenlijk niet nodig. Overigens in de omgeving van dit hotel zijn er ruim voldoende mogelijkheden om te genieten van een drankje, een hapje e.d.

我們預訂了最後一分鐘的科隆之旅,預訂了2間雙人間。我們不得不用現金支付200,00歐元的押金。沒有其他方法支付現金。我們拿到錢後,我們只有在一個房間不吸菸時才能把錢收回。我們到達後,我們直接參加了狂歡派對,回來睡了4個小時,12點前退房。所以我們按照他們的要求做了一切,但接待員說我們在房間裏抽菸,因爲他們據稱在窗戶的陽台上發現了灰。我們甚至沒有打開窗戶,我們的香菸也用光了。我在他們酒店前面抽了最後一個。他們拍了陽台的照片,展示了一些灰。圖片可能是來自任何其他房間,因爲他們都互相看。所以我們沒有把錢拿回來,他們打電話給我們警察。警方說他們對此無能爲力,我們必須提出投訴,當我們要求看到以前客人的房間照片時,他們說每次都不檢查。所以,他們怎麼能確定這不是別人以前。

The hotel is ok, getting older and that is started to show. However, the hotel staff at reception and cleaning is good. The hotel is located a bit off the Strassebahn stops so there is a few minutes walk to the hotel if you don't have a car. There is missing a walking lane from the street to the hotel, so guests have to walk across a badly illuminated car entrance and a parking lot, it is hazardous. Gas station in front of the hotel is another thing making the arrival site of the hotel environment not so attractive. The other side of the hotel is however nice turning towards the Stadtwald. The really bad experience was the restaurant in the hotel. I like to mention that I very seldom complain at a restaurant, in fact I haven't for years. I ordered a burger and that was the worst service I have experienced for many years. The burger was badly cooked but the worst thing was the buns were so hard that I couldn't cut thru them with a knife. Like they had been frozen in a bag with a hole in it so the bun was exposed to dry cold for long time. I am not joking when I say I couldn't cut through them, it was so literally. I asked the waiter to take it back and he said he would bring a new one. He however did not, and did not approach me to tell me. My wife had her chicken and she finished her meal but not a work from the waiter to me. When I asked for the bill I asked him why and he said the cook had said that nothing was wrong with the burger. I would just stay away from that restaurant, it is a shame for this hotel. Price of hotel was 407 E a double room for 3 nights without breakfast. I travel frequently to Cologne and have stayed in this hotel few times, but I will do my best to stay away from this hotel in the future.

After a long hard journey we had a pleasant enough checkin, but after having paid a lot extra for booking first class rooms, we were told that the first class lounge was closed. I asked what was the point in paying sky much more for first class rooms, and I was told the rooms have coffee machines. For the price difference I could have gone and bought coffee machines, but frankly I am not interested in a coffee machine, I paid for the rooms so we could use the lounge, so I felt ripped off. My room was boiling hot, and the air conditioning does not work. They sent someone to the room, but they could not get is below 26 degrees. They changed my room to a much smaller one, but it was a bit cooler. I came back to my room having left the aircon on all day and all evening. It was still very warm. I chose this hotel as it is described as air conditioned. It is not air conditioned at all. I could not sleep, it was too warm. I called reception and they brought me a fan. I am so disappointed to have not had what I expected, and most annoyingly the room was described as air conditioned when all it really has is a noisy fan. I should ask for partial refund for our two rooms, they were not worth the money. Then, the service at the bar was terrible. We ordered a round of drinks, it took more than half an hour to bring three beers. Not busy, just really slow.

在帝國酒店度過了愉快的三個晚上。事實上,這是我們在德國旅行一週時入住的三個人最喜歡的酒店。酒店地理位置優越,距離Venloerstrasse街步行5-10分鐘,街上有很多餐館,咖啡館和酒吧。事實上,在這裏吃飯比靠近Altstadt的一些旅遊陷阱要好得多。從酒店步行到大教堂大約35分鐘,否則公共交通步行5-10分鐘。我們在三樓有一個非常舒適安靜的房間,我們所需要的所有設施都提供了。酒店工作人員非常友好和樂於助人。對赫特·恩格爾曼大喊大叫,他耐心地和我的生鏽的德國人免費,並給了我們一些很棒的t餐廳小費。肯定會回來的。

Das Hotel liegt in Köln recht zentral. Auch die Möglichkeit direkt im Hotel zu frühstücken hat wohl den Ausschlag für die Buchung gegeben. Jedoch schon bei der Ankunft zeigte sich das an der Rezeption vor und nach mir es wohl Lautstärkedifferenzen zwischen den Buchungen der anreisenden Gäste und den Verständnis, der nur bedingt deutsch sprechenden Dame an der Rezeption gab. Mein mitreißender Kollege hat er eindeutig Frühstück mit bestellt. Musste dies aber am nächsten Morgen lautstark einfordern. Ich selbst, bin sehr viel in Hotels unterwegs hab es aber extrem selten erlebt, dass das Personal gegenseitig immer wieder lautstark vorgestern um Abläufe, welche eingeübt sein sollten, stritten. Mein Zimmer selbst war abgewohnt und hatte wohl den Flair der 1980 Jahre. Stromkabel einfach an die Wand geklebt, mit der Hoffnung, dass diese sich nicht wieder lösen. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen. Was den Grund, dass Mitarbeiter und Gäste sich ständig negativ anschreien.

酒店距離火車站步行(幾分鐘),步行到酒店可以看到(和聽到)大教堂大約兩分鐘:早上08:00左右,鐘聲很響,其他時間也一樣。房間大小適中,牀很舒服。房間很乾淨,有保險箱,電視,帶淋浴的浴室(奇怪的是沒有淋浴簾或屏幕-地板變得相當潮溼)。早餐不錯,包括了從牛角麪包、吐司、培根、雞蛋、香腸、麪包、穀類食品、火腿、沙拉、奶酪、咖啡、茶、熱水和一些真正非常好的果汁等各種冷熱食品(我在酒店品嚐過的一些最好的)。用餐區的員工真的非常愉快和友好。接待人員稍微多樣,但禮貌和高效。酒店外面看起來沒有那麼好,但總的來說很愉快,裏面是一個很棒的基地。隔壁有一些便利店類型的商店和我嘗試過的烤肉串房子,它和家裏完全一樣。麥當勞就在馬路對面,如果你喜歡的話。我們步行到所有的聖誕節集市(我們大部分時間都是在那裏吃飯),在市中心和萊茵河附近。所有的人都很容易步行。有一個包房,結賬時可以把包放好,然後回來取。由於人們剛從街上走來拿包,所以那裏的保安有點鬆懈。我到接待處告訴他們我拿了我的,那位女士看上去好像在說:“好吧,行。”沒有支票。還有很少人從街上走進來,只是上樓,但是房間的門很安全。房間的燈光不太好,酒店周圍的燈光似乎掛在他們的連接上。總的來說,這是一個探索城市和往返的好基地。晚安的睡眠-儘管有鈴聲和豐盛的早餐。我還會再在這城市裏停留一會兒.
