My television didn’t work and staff came to help but were not able to resolve issue. There were two football teams staying at hotel and the noise level of constant doors opening and closing on my floor as well as floor above me made it difficult to relax and sleep. There were no parking spots that were close to the door so as a single women entering a hotel having to walk around building felt unsafe and advertised that I was somebody traveling alone.

When we checked out Sunday and arrived back home my husband discovered he had forgotten his jacket in the closet. We called the Hotel, and they retrieved the jacket and mailed it back to us. I would recommend Hilton Garden State College to anyone going to Penn State for an event.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick. We did not use the pool or gym and it was too cold to utilize the outdoor space, which I assume would be nice in the warmer weather.

Great location not far from the highway but still quiet. Too rainy and cold to wander around but it was a decent area.

The fitness center was disappointing. There wer e 2 treadmills. One was broken and the other one was proped up with towels. It’s a law suit waiting to happen. We picked this hotel because of the fitness center. We are all a bunch of athletes. I stepped on the broken treadmill, started it up and my glasses they were resting in the console went flying and I stepped on them. The worst part - I told the manager and she says- we will do something for you next time your in town. Really. I’m not passing through again. Very disappointed

Staff was very friendly. Very dated property. It looks like the rooms haven’t been updated since the 1970’s
Bathtub has rust and room unfortunately not clean being there was a hair in the tub that didn’t belong to me .

Close to campus. Hotel rooms were dated and night staff made me feel uncomfortable. Heads up that breakfast is not complementary as many sites infer that it is.
