喬治飯店(The George)

The property is well located. It has a nice a**osphere overall, but for the price, I would expect the USB and wall outlets to actually function! And neither did! This is the second time that has happened. Last time the engineer came to the room and said it was an electrical problem in the hotel. This time I didn’t bother calling. Kind of hard to charge your laptop and phone with no power! Also, bathroom was out of Kleenex, shower soap, and only had 1/2 roll of t.p. We will be staying elsewhere next time.

While the area has great options for entertaining and dining, the hotel is far from what you would expect for the price of the room. Valet does not help with luggage for all guests - only certain ones. Do not stay on the second floor. Kids and “young adults” running up and down the hall all night unsupervised. The second floor overlooks the lobby where there is live music until 10:30 which is okay as that was not too loud. But what was loud was the running up and down the hall screaming to look over the balcony at the lobby. Called front desk and was told they were addressing it but this went on for hours. Too expensive of a hotel to have to deal with this. you would expect from much less expensive hotels down the street. Will not stay here again.

Parking garage is far and not covered to hotel. Sink faucet came off. Loud rattle in bathroom near a/c duct. Toilet seat wouldn’t stay up. Maintenance had to be called to correct faucet and toilet. Room had musty smell. Design of hotel makes some rooms, like ours, a very far walk to elevator.

Was a great stay. The bar and restaurant were excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The only complaint that we had was that the only refrigerator in the room was the mini bar. We could not keep cold drinks in the room unless we wanted to pay the hefty mini bar fee.

Always a great time staying at the George. Great restaurants to choose from and all in a short walking distance.

It is nice to be able to walk to dining and shopping easily. Note: Someone had thrown up in the hallway on our floor and it smelled for days(and you could see it in the carpet that is getting a bit worn).

We had a great one night stay to go to Santa’s Wonderland. My only complaint is the lack of a usable fridge in the room (fully stocked as a mini bar) and no microwave. Parking was a bit inconvenient walking to and from the parking garage but worth not paying for valet! Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. A great overnight trip with my 5 yr old. We made awesome memories!

Always enjoy our stay here. Staff is friendly, rooms are spotless, coffee in the morning is great. We stay here yearly for an event for a reason.

Small boutique hotel surrounded by many dining options all walkable! It has an older vibe but sophisticated. The boutique in the main lobby has cute fashion and game day accessories - fun to shop! Parking was tricky as it was hard to find a space available at times even for guests ! Outlet next to beds were broken which
