Bohemian Beach on Good Harbor Bay is a short car or bike ride away. Adventure seekers will have plenty to do with numerous nationally acclaimed hiking and mountain biking trails nearby, golfing, and a pick of smaller lakes to fish and enjoy. This space holds fond memories of comradery and celebrations to our Local Heroes. The main floor is open and airy with a mid century Americana nod. Original warm oak floors and unique furnishings give a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living area with the master suite on the main floor as well.Two bedrooms, a full bath, and entertaining/game space on the lower walk out level. The well equipped kitchen is bright and a cheery with some of the original fixtures that give it the an "upnorth" vintage vibe.Guest accessThe home is on 3 acres of wooded land. There is plenty of parking for cars and boats. The laundry is located on the lower level for guest to use. Located 9 miles from Glen Arbor and 9 miles from Leland. Beautiful Little Traverse Lake is steps away from the door. The cottage has everything you need for your stay. Includes all linens, towels, dishes, grill equipment, a fire pit and out door seating. Internet and cable are available. There is a public boat launch if you would like to bring your own boat, there is a dock. There are 4 single kayaks as well as a row boat that you are free to use. Located just North of Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear Dunes you can enjoy Little Traverse Lake, bike trails, Lake Michigan beaches, wineries, and the towns in and around Traverse City all while making this peaceful home your haven to relax. The views of Little Traverse Lake are abundant with walls of windows in every room, and the outside patio is great for entertaining. In addition, there are a couple trails that go right to Lake Michigan in walking distance from the home.This 4400 sq ft home boasts 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths (2.5 of which were remodeled last winter), a large kitchen, dining room, library, screened in porch, home office, living room with a walkout patio, private lakefront, private dock. The entire main living space was remodeled this year! It was professionally painted, new central air, new furniture, new lighting and ceiling fans throughout. All small appliances were updated as well.For the summer, the dock was extended with a seating area, 4 new kayaks come with the rental, and there is an option to rent our brand new 2024 Pontoon during your stay! Additional water toys and rafts are on site to enjoy the lake.We installed home office speed wifi that will run over 20 devices. 3 brand new SMART TVs are in the home. One in the library, primary suite, and secondary King on the second floor. The office also is equipped with computer monitors should you need to get a little work done on your trip.The entire home is accessible including a washer and dryer. We also rent a studio that is next to this rental so you may book both if you need room for two more! The condo is located 1 mile from Good Harbor Beach where you can enjoy swimming, sunsets, and bonfires. The condo is near The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and the villages of Glen Arbor, Fishtown-Leland, Lake Leelanau, and Suttons Bay. Bike trails, local shops, wineries, golf courses, charter fishing, rock hunting, ski resorts, and tasty restaurants are some of the highlights of things to do in the area.The condo is located approximately 20 minutes from Traverse City.The condo includes a large bedroom with a new King Tempur-Pedic bed and a his and hers walkthrough closet with an attached laundry room.
