Travelodge by Wyndham Bloomington

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!STAY AWAY! We had booked two rooms. Both rooms were disgustingly dirty. Hair on the toilet sits and floors. Dirty sinks dirty mirrors with red yellow spots all over it. The rooms smelled awful. The showers had black mold in all the corners.we found out that this Travelodge is being used as a homeless shelter as they allow other guests to stay in the same unsanitary rooms!!!! This place is an absolute health hazard for occupants. I reported this health conditions to *******. This property should not be offered to families.

The room was functional and comfortable enough. The staff were friendly. You could tell, however, that the owners weren’t investing a lot into the building. The hallways were musty, the hot water didn’t work in the shower, and overall, the hotel felt like a place on a slow, but inevitable decline.

Located close to IU campus and mall. Newly refurbished lobby/breakfast area. Rooms are a bit dated but clean, functional and accommodated all our needs. No issue with parking. Walkable to mall, and even campus if 15-20 minute walk is OK.

If you are looking for economical lodging providing a clean bed, bathroom and cable, this is it. The owners are currently making upgrades so I would imagine the looks of the establishment will change. Since All I needed was a place to shower and sleep this worked out great for me. If you are looking for a Hilton experience, you will be disappointed.

Where to start. First, we were checked into a room that was being cleaned (or fumigated, hard to tell). Next, the room they moved us to was musty, was run down, was missing a smoke alarm, had no usable outlets near the bed, had no screen on the window, and had the barest of sheets/blankets/pillows. They benefit from the fact that hotels are now always full in Bloomington, so this dump can charge over $300 a night for what should cost $50 at best.

Wasn't the cleanest place I've stayed but the staff was accommodating. If traveling with pets, it's a $35 pet fee and $100 refundable pet deposit

If you just need a roof over your head, this is okay. Otherwise, stay somewhere else. Burns in the bedspread, tiny shower with no water pressure that was only either scalding or freezing. Desperately in need of paint, carpet, new linens, got only 1 bath towel. The breakfast area is a 4ft table with a waffle maker and two tiny cafe tables with 2 chairs shoved in the tiny lobby. The key card came in a sleeve that offered Domino's pizza as room service.
