Bay View Hotel

Hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht. Beide waren mit Abstand die kleinsten auf unserem 10tägigen Roadtrip . Aussicht auf einen Innenhof bzw Hausfassade gegenüber. Die Tür zum Badezimmer stand fast beim Bett an. Das Frühstück konnte leider auch im Vergleich nicht mithalten (haben fast nur BBs gebucht) Die Fotos auf der Website versprechen einen höheren Standard. Das Gebäude und der Eingangsbereich haben Charme und das Personal war durchwegs freundlich. Möglicherweise bekamen wir die kleinsten Zimmer im Haus, da wir nur 1 Nacht gebucht hatten … Wir hatten uns für den Preis mehr erwartet

Ein Hotel mit toller Lage! Vom geräumigen und sauberen Zimmer aus hat man den Strand und die Bucht im Blick. Restaurant (trotz immens Andrang) und Frühstück haben uns auch überzeugt. Parken am Straßenrand ist kein Problem.

Ate here Sunday night, two TV's were blaring on the walls with a soccer match, for some reason they can't decide if they are a restaurant or a bar.. the room is set up like a restaurant but giant TV's playing soccer definitely isn't a restaurant feel. Manager seems clueless to any atmosphere. Food is fine nothing fancy. Owner needs to decide are they a restaurant or a pub because you can't do both.

Absolutely loved our stay in the Bay View. Our 3 rooms had a view of the fairly wild Atlantic. It felt cosy but very professional. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food at breakfast and dinner were delicious. Had seconds of the fresh OJ and fruit salad! Will certainly be back.

We were delighted with the Bay View Hotel - our room was gorgeous with views over the beautiful Kilkee Bay. Breakfast was served so nicely & the food was all cooked & presented perfectly again, overlooking the bay. All of the staff were so welcoming & friendly - the place was spotlessly clean too. We can’t wait go back again. We only had one night. We did the cliff walk whilst we were there - it is stunning!!Such a nice easy walk too with a great path to the top. Lots of seating along the way to enjoy the scenery too.

Another wonderful visit to the Bay View and even out of season, it delivers. First and foremost, some of the best beds we have slept in. Our room (114) was incredibly spacious and even had dressing gowns ready for us and a nice couple of chesterfield chairs to relax on. The bar has a great collection of Irish whiskeys and gins, including the local JJ Corry whiskeys. Would love a craft beer like Western Herd but Guinness will do! Breakfasts are top notch here, ample and well executed. Will be back of course! Thanks to Mary, John and team for another relaxing visit.

Just spent a wonderful night in The Bay View hotel.We were in East Clare and decided to stay another night..Very last minute.!What a lovely hotel ..Small but well placed in the town.…Pleasant and welcoming check in. Had dinner in the bar which was just so nice .Not an extensive menu, but beautifully cooked and perfectly presented .Service was prompt and efficient.Great room with fab view of the bay..We had room 118.I must say it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in in a long time ..Breakfast was just as nice as the dinner was, and cooked to order.Great family run hotel…Will be back again ..Well worth a visit…like I said ‘A little gem’!!

This is a well appointed older hotel. My room had a view of the ocean and Nolan’s Deli(which is worth a try) My scrambled eggs and salmon just came so Bon appetit . There is a fog this morning but no rain. After breakfast I’m off for a good walk. See you later?

A very friendly and courteous check in. Nice modern room, and a good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is very centrally located with lots of on street parking. I would definitely return and I would recommend the hotel to my family and friends.
