Great experience. No problem with check in even though booking was done through a third party

Average hotel good location right at central city Cincinnati Ohio . Not even close to be 4 star hotel maybe 2 maximum. No parking only valet, very simple boring lobby hall need huge upgrades. Hallways white no welcoming vibe . Room was clean at first when you look but if check very good could be done better. Front house team and restaurant team a bit dull. Not recommending this property unless it’s your last choice

We were in Cincinnati for a few days, for the Taylor Swift concert. The hotel is quite nice with some nice features such as the beautiful staircase and the fantastic coffee shop. Our room was a basic King. It was quite small but we were expecting that. What we didn't like was that the window faced inside the hotel. I didn't like not being able to see outside at all. If we returned to this hotel, I would only do so if we had an outside facing room. The other problem with the room was that the AC was terrible. It was extremely hot while we were there and our room didn't offer any respite from the heat. I did not sleep well while we were there and as a result we checked out 2 days early. I asked for the AC to be looked at however no one ever came.

Great location and lobby/common areas generally have been well-mainted and refreshed, but guest rooms are in desperate need of renovation (or at least some fixes and upgrades). A/C in our room was incredibly loud, one of the bathroom faucets dripped non-stop throughout our stay and the room was very dark. Room was not sufficiently cleaned when we arrived, and room cleaning throughout our stay was sub-par and viritually non-existent; we had to wait in line at the front desk multiple times to ask for our room to be cleaned throughout our stay, which seems like minimum standard service for a hotel of this price point and caliber. When the room was cleaned, it was done very poorly (bed barely made, missed garbage, did not clean toilet or shower).

The whole room vibrated and hummed all night. Ear plugs made no difference to the vibration transferring from the bed, through the pillow and in to my ear drum. Turning off my aircon made no difference. Without earplugs every noise from the street below was very clear (I was on the 6th floor). I slept terribly as I was constantly woken through the night and then couldn’t get back to sleep because of the sickening vibration. There was no tv remote in the room but it was otherwise well appointed and clean. I would not stay here again though.

I thought there would have been more options for restaurants inside this huge hotel. The bar / snack was very disappounting. My husband and I sat there over 15 minutes before anyone came out the back to notice us. The menu was extremely limited and not pleasing. Otherwise I truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Considering what you get for the price, The Cincinnatian gets five stars. Lovely old building and the common areas are very attractive. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. Sherry, at the front desk is great. General manager was always visible and very nice as well. Silas, who was the doorman as I arrived was most helpful and very congenial, as was Mike and a young blond man whose name I was remiss not to get. Great coffee shop attached with super products and very nice employees and managers. Chelsea was delightful; her husband whom I only met once was also very nice. The room itself was fine, but not at all exceptional. The GM said they were going to be remolded soon. i felt very welcome and appreciated here.

Overall, this hotel was excellent. It’s historic and in a good location that’s walkable to a lot of good restaurants and bars. It’s also a close enough walk to OTR and the banks. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was phenomenal (great water pressure and jacuzzi tub). Will stay here again.
