The lake in town is great for fishing, and McCarthy Beach is only a short drive. Chisholm, as many iron range towns, has a rich history of boom and bust with a Main Street (Lake) walking tour and Mining museum right in town. The Discovery Center right across the freeway is free on Thursday nights and will give you all the history of mining and the people who made the area what it is that you will want to know!
