芝加哥賽琳娜飯店(Selina Chicago)

No anda la calefacción en las habitaciones, les reclamamos y cuando fuimos el chico de repleción con pésimos modos nos dijo que sólo estaba disponible en los meses de invierno. No nos ofreció Ninguna solución. Las amenities casi inexistentes y nos cobraron 35 usd de “experiencia” pero no fue suficiente para tener calefacción. La ventana del cuarto tampoco cerraba, estando en un piso 11 con vientos huracanados. No recomiendo este hotel. Pésimo trato del recepcionista.

Garbage, garbage, garbage. This hotel is dirty and just plain awful. Stay away. The room is super dirty and poorly designed. There’s no normal amenities such as drinking glasses. You’re on your own. While we were waiting for the elevator we overheard a couple who had just checked in complaining that their room is occupied. This place is absolute trash. Truly regret this booking.

La nostra agenzia ha prenotato questa struttura spacciandola per 4 stelle, ma in verità è un hotel 3 stelle posizionato alla fine del magnificente mile. Abbastanza comodo per girare la città ma sicuramente è lontano dal the loop (zona centrale della città). La struttura si presenta sporca e poco curata, camere vecchie. Staff cordiale e disponibile a pulirci per 2 volte la camera e rifarci il letto. Attenzione: non c'è il cambio asciugamani giornalieri. Raccomando questa struttura solo per brevi soggiorni e con un budget limitato,

Primero nos dieron una habitacion donde la cama estaba a casi 1 metro de,altura, muebles rotos, ventanas extremadamente sucias y teniamos la escalera de emergencia sobre el vidrio. Las canillas de la ducha funcionan mal y la banadera tarda en desagotar por lo cual uno,se bana con agua sucia en los pies.No limpian los cuartos todos los dias .. llegamos a las 6 de la tarde de recorrer la ciudad y la cama estaba sin hacer y el cuarto sin limpiar. Pedimos que lo hicieran y nos dijeron que no se podia debido a,que no habia personal . Ese dia nos tuvimos que cambiar de cuarto. El personal del front desk muy maleducado, no estan preparados para atender un hotel. en la cocina comun vimos como una pasajera vaciaba el plato del perro en la pileta y no limpiaba. EL anafe no funciona. El edificio en general es de muy mal gusto y hay sectores abandonados que parecen la casa de dracula. Nada recomendable... mejor olvidar la experiencia.

Hotel is in a great location but is in need of a revamp/modernisation. The co-working space and lobby are nice and modern but they do not reflect the room. Beds were clean but the room carpet was a little dirty. Bathroom was old but the water pressure was good. Overall ticks the box to visit downtown but not special in anyway.

This place is not a hotel. They falsely advertise, but it is a hostel (and not a great one, there are better hostels in the city). upon arrival, we found out that there was no AC and it was 80 degrees outside, which meant that the building was VERY hot. Upon getting to our room, we found it to be very underwhelming. The beds were clean but other than that the room felt disgusting. There were layers of grime on every surface, The bathroom looked as though it had not been cleaned, and our window would not stay open. The carpet did not fit the room and the wallpaper was peeling off. There was a huge patch on our wall that looked as if it had been cut out and then just covered up. For the price you pay, you would hope for better. If you want a hostel experience, there are better options in the city. But this place should not be considered a hotel.

This property's poor scores and negative reviews are justified. During my visit on a weekend, I encountered issues upon entering. While the staff, especially the Asian gentleman at the front desk, were hospitable, the overall atmosphere was lacking smiles from guests. My room had a mildew smell, noisy AC, outdated decor, and dirty carpet. I received a room change to a slightly better one, but it still had most of the same issues. Additionally, there was no housekeeping or fridge in the room, despite being a standard private room rate. Unless moved to a renovated room, I won't return.
