維薩維斯飯店(Hotel Vis à Vis)

5 Star location, 2 Star room (Classic Double).

Great views, lovely pool. Lovely cocktails, however a little pricey. Lunch could be improved. Lots of flies at the pool. Room is quite small but has everything you need.

Perched up on a hilll in Sestri Levante afforded beatuful, panoramic views. A bar at the top and the restaurant a floor below was breathtaking. A quick elevator ride down from the hotel left you right near the walking streets and was very quaint and authentic. The staff was fantastic, informative, and always helpful. The train station is within walking distance. The ferry to Cinque Terre was not operating this time of year, so the train was the best option. This was one of our favorite hotels! Our room had a large patio/courtyard that was relaxing.

Posto meraviglioso con una terrazza imperdibile sulla baia del silenzio e un ristorante con vista sul mare e tramonto indescrivibile. Staff gentile e cordiale, suite con terraza privata vista mare indimenticabile. Colazione eccellente con vasta scelta sia dolce che salata. Il paradiso!

This hotel has an extraordinary view and beautiful facilities. Our room was beautiful and exceptionally large, with a walk in closet, huge bathroom and large terrace (A5). The top floor is a bar that they can readily adapt to wind, rain, and temperature changes. The bar staff are great. The view is incredible. The hotel is a few blocks from the shops and restaurants on the two bays. It's easily accessible from the hotel elevator that takes you to street level. We stayed here and visited Portofino one day and Cinque Terre another day. It's a perfect location. It's not as crowded and the hotel is like a sanctuary, with extraordinary views. We ate at their restaurant, Portobello, which isn't on their site, but down on The Bay of Silence. I'd highly recommend it.

Sestri Levante meta conosciuta, abbiamo passato anni in questa località a me cara. Abbiamo deciso di passare 4 giorni di relax sl Vis a Vis Devo dire che è stata un’ esperienza positiva sotto tutti i punti di vista. Dall’accoglienza della reception al super Maurizio il maître di sala, attento efficiente e super educato con tutti. ( si percepisce passione per il proprio lavoro) Camera super pulita! La cena ottima, con lo chef che si sincera con tutti i tavoli se è piaciuto tutto. Poi che dire della posizione davvero invidiabile, bellissima! abbraccia tutta Sestri . Grazie a tutto lo staff. Although the rooms are small, this is offset by the many other positives at the hotel. First, the staff: we travel frequently and have never met a staff more personable and interested in doing everything possible to ensure a wonderful stay. Second, the view: it cannot be captured in words. The sea is an improbable color of blue: breathtakingly beautiful. And, while the rooms are small, the bed is extremely comfortable: had the best night's sleep here than in the other 3 hotels we stayed at during our vacation to Italy. Sestri-Levante is a small town, not overrun by tourists, offering shopping and dining options and is a good base to visit the surrounding area.

The Hotel Vis a Vis is an excellent hotel commanding a wonderful position overlooking Sestri Levante. The staff are welcoming and attentive. On arrival, we received an information pack containing a range of ideas about things to do in the area. The railway station is only 10 minutes walk and trains travel towards the Cinque Terre / La Spezia to the east and Camogli and Genoa to the west. The dining room on the fourth floor and the bar on the fifth both provide fantastic views over the coast. The pool is welcoming and warm. The rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent. The hotel provided us with a wonderful week in Sestri Levante and we look forward to returning on a future occasion.
