巴卡拉爾日出別墅飯店(El Secreto Hotel Bacalar Lakefront)

La peor experiencia que hemos tenido en un 'hotel'. Desde el lugar, la atención, la comida y bebida sin es all inclusive pero los horarios para comer o tomar son muy cortos y fuera de lo normal. Reglas ridículas muy estrictas que podrían cambiar en segundos pero no lo hacen. El área para comer es al aire libre, en mesas viejas y sucias. Y la higiene de la cocina y demás áreas dejan mucho que desear. No recomendable en absoluto.

Para empezar no está en Bacalar, esta mas cerca de chetumal y como a media hora de Bacalar. Una de las peores experiencias para empezar no cuenta con un lugar adecuado para nadar o disfrutar de la laguna, los alimentos pesimos: no se dan abasto ni con la comida ni con los utensilios ( platos, vasos, cubiertos). Nuestra habitación olia muuuuy mal, algo así como a gas o basura, bajamos a la recepción y solo me proporcionaron un aromatizante en aerosol y uno eléctrico. En verdad no lo recomiendo.

I can see why they have changed their name. Check out the Google reviews. I should have listened to the reviews that said they were worth 1 star. If I had such a bad reputation, I would have changed my name too. These people con you into thinking the hotel is in Bacalar. THIS HOTEL IS NOT IN BACALAR. They just call it that to trick you into thinking it is. It is in a totally different town. When I brought this to their attention and asked to change the date, they wouldn't budge, even after I explained to them that my elderly parents wouldn't be okay with traveling that much further. They kept my money, and wouldn't even change the date so that I could go with boyfriend at a later time so I wouldn't lose my money. I can see why on GOOGLE they have 1 STAR.

Nice and charming little hotel in the middle of nowwhere ;-) Do check the description when booking as you can easily get lost . Situated on the Lake you can also use their paddelboat. Rooms big enough and beds very comfy. Breakfast in price included, nevertheless situation a bit chaotic, at the end you have to wash your own dishes ;-))

Villa Sunrise is a very lovely place. The hotel is lacated right next to the lagoon which is wonderful. We really enjoyed the time spend here. The staff is very friendly. The Roms are clean and the bed is very big. We would visit another time again.

It's a lovely quiet location on the lake with stunning views, though it is 15 minute drive to bacalar itself. My room was very comfortable, huge bed and a nice sized room. It's also very quiet which is great. However, the hot water was very patchy, usually barely warm enough. And secondly, the breakfast it's truly terrible. The fruit selection, oranges or rock hard star fruit. The hot breakfast, cold completely overcooked scrambled eggs with off bits of veggies in, and some cold black beans. Toast but no butter or margarine. No fresh juice, just squash. We're in the tropics guys, there's beautiful fruit everywhere, stop being so mean at at least get some bananas, papaya etc. Who wants dried out eggs on dry toast and a whole orange for breakfast? At least the coffee was good.

Las instalaciones súper bonitas, de igual manera todos fueron muy atentos, el cuarto amplio, muy limpio, me encanto que aceptaran a mi mascota, aparte cuentan con su entrada a la Laguna con muy bonita vista..Muy recomendado
