VGP金海灘度假村

I am writing this review so that no other family suffers like how we did. Please do not get carried away by looking at the pictures posted on the website while booking. Note - We had to cut short the stay by one night as further stay there would have made us insane. Cutlery/furniture/bathroom fittings/upholstery/beds/bedcovers/bedsheets/mirrors/ window panes/ windows themselves/doors need a revamp if the management is thinking of renovating the resort. The wall panels on the rooms are coming out and ready to fall. We spotted a toad inside the room. The jacuzzi is only for namesake. The room intercom is only a showpiece. Doors are broken. Stray dogs were free to roam around. The pathways need a re-laying as travelling by the Buggie or the wheelchair is a horrifying experience. The make-shift dining area is a den. The dining area is under renovation, of which there was no mention while doing the booking, The staff seem to be new and were blinking when questions were asked (as basic as what time will the restaurant open for dinner). It is sad that many do not understand the local language. Some of the staff members are quite helpful. Food was a saving grace. Good food. Dear VGP Management - Not sure if anyone is even reading the review and is taking a serious action. Shut down of the resort may be the only option left in days to come if appropriate and timely action is not taken.

Restaurant is very far from the room and food was unavailable at 4 pm in the evening. Staff was rude. As it was raining heavily hotel failed to provide enough umbrellas. Bathrooms were not so clean.

The experience was very bad i never had this much terrible experience in any stay that i booked neither i can explain nor you can imagine how bad it was

Worst experience ever rooms without hygiene and not weep maintained. Poor facilities on amenities. And service untidy rooms and washrooms. Water issue

The maintainence is not good and heater was not working and every-time we have call them and ask for hot water and they would bring in the bucket and we have wait for more than 15 minutes, the rest rooms outside were not clean and no water was available. On the way restaurant there was a rest room and the it carried worst odour and it was pathetic to say the least and to worsen things up it was very close to the dining area

Overall, stay was wrost including everything cleanliness, lights were not working. I can't call reception since intercom phone wire is completely disconnected.
