Do not book unless you really don’t care. Photos may technically be truthful but based on other reviews, and certainly based on my experience, they are highly misrepresentative. Nothing fully-furnished about this hideously unmaintained location. You don’t want to see my photos. It is should be below the standards of ******* to list such a place and the fact that I had to fight with ******* for some kind of remedy just made this whole experience even worse.

Appalling room, damp, dirty, foam for a mattress. Smell of mould. Noisy, creepy. Broken toilet seat, mouldy towel hanging on rail. Constantly dripping tap. DO NOT STAY Avoid at all cost. Reality is nothing like what is advertised . Flea bites too

我覺得我被蒙蔽了，在切爾滕納姆的中心，一切都很美麗，這個地方就是一個笑話，噁心，看起來很噁心，有潮濕的味道，我和我的伴侶走進去又直接回來了。根本不像他們的照片中所宣傳的那樣。不要出租此房產！多付 20 英鎊，我們就得到了一家距離酒店 15 分鐘路程的旅館。省下你的錢。這是一個徹頭徹尾的笑話，它是不可退款的……因為他們知道每個付費來到這裡的人都會立即後悔他們的決定。他們無權說不可退款…應該到您入住前一天為止。我對********** 感到非常不安，因為它允許這個破爛的地方存在，廣告上說這是一個工作室，但實際上它是一個單人間，裡面藏著一張雙人床，沒有空間可以走動，無處可放行李，然後放置一個帶水槽和微波爐的臨時櫃檯，浴室是共用的，但所有這些都留在酒店內！絕對厭惡！

I have never stayed anywhere that made it so difficult. On the day of my stay, I was sent a message asking me to phone so that the £100 deposit could be taken from my debit card. As I had already used the card to make the booking this seemed odd in itself, but when I phoned I was told I would have to go to a different property in the town centre to have my card swiped before they would give me the access code for the property I was booked into. They texted me the address, but the text never arrived. Once I had got to the town centre property and had my card swiped the receptionist texted me the access codes for where I was staying - but this text never arrived either. The whole thing added 45 minutes to my journey at the end of a tiring day, and seems completely pointless. Given that it's possible to buy a car online these days there was surely no need for me to turn up in person to supply card details which the hotel already had. I will definitely not stay here again.

The image on ********** carries bathtub, but it has a shared bathroom for the rooms. ( Seeing that and booking straight, I never suspected anything hidden) On getting there, I was expecting it to be a hotel only to discover it was a shared room house with shared bathroom. The backdoor was also left open and accessible to anyone. Response was not so good also. I had to leave that same night as I could not stay there and they refused to refund even after carrying their contact along that I had left and couldn't stay there. The first impression was deceptive for me and that was what my assumption regarding the room was based on without checking other details afterwards.

Good stay. Very practical. Helpful support team.

Not only was it dirty, dated and uncomfortable, we had to share a bathroom with several other lodgers and my 7-year old son had to witness a horrendous domestic incident between two other lodgers. Not suitable for children. The owners still charged me after we had no other choice but to leave following the incident, to find alternative accommodation for the evening. The price for one evening is not justified - shocking!

I needed somewhere to sleep for one night after a liquid reunion with an old friend. No frills needed. Cheap and cheerful would do. At £52 this fitted the ‘cheap’ requirement but the previous reviews were generally poor so I didn’t have great expectations regarding the ‘cheerful’ part! I was wrong. The accommodation is housed in two buildings, of which I was placed in the one at the rear of the car park (which can accommodate up to 8 cars) behind the main house on the Gloucester Road, and to gain access I needed to obtain entry codes for both the main door and the room key locker. One phone call to Roomsbooked, who handle all of the bookings for Central Studios, I had the numbers on my mobile phone and was in. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise. It was a small, neat and clean room with a single bed, wardrobe, fridge, microwave, Freeview TV, hairdryer, kettle, sink and tea/coffee making equipment. I’d had reservations about the shared toilet but need not have worried as there were two of them, well equipped containing both a toilet, hand basin and shower, so the likelihood of possible embarrassing encounters never arose. MOST IMPORTANT – if using the toilets MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR ROOM KEY WITH YOU, as the door to your room might close behind you and without the key you are unable to get back in!! Although there is a railway line right behind the property is seems to be very lightly used and caused no disturbance to a reasonable night’s sleep. I have noticed that the latest review shown here was in August last year so perhaps the proprietor has taken note of the comments and has had some work done since then. Overall I think that, for the price, I received good value for money.
