夏洛特威佛利萬怡飯店(Courtyard Charlotte Waverly)

I’m not one to complain. I don’t expect the rooms to be like home but I do expect things to work. The dead bolt on the door did not work and that was troublesome for me. We tried to pull on the door to close the dead bolt. We tried to push on the door and close the dead bolt but nothing worked. The room was not dirty but it wasn’t the cleanest. There was spill spots inside the fridge which were sticky and not appealing. The staff was great. The front desk people where super nice and all of the staff we ran into was very kind. We didn’t complain about the lock or the fridge, we just wiped it out and we’re fine but just thought you might like the feed back. My brothers room also had trouble with the dead bolt. Again it just made us all a little nervous. First time in Charolette. We will be back.

The overall area was fine, along with the look of the hotel was very nice and inviting. However I did not like that there were no free breakfast/meals offered. I also found that the mattress in my room was so very uncomfortable, so much so that I could not sleep in that bed for the time I spent there. I could not wait to get home to my own bed. I will not be patronizing this hotel again for the reasons stated above, especially the mattress issue.

From the start Samira at the front desk is a treasure. She went way out of her way to fix the issue with the Travelocity screw up.

This hotel is located in an upscale neighborhood and is located near fantastic restaurants and a wonderful grocery store. The hotel is clean, the staff is polite and accommodating. The only negative was the pool. It is horrible, small and there are no chairs to sit in the pool area. The pool is shallow and only 5 ft deep. I was looking forward to using the pool. No way!!!

Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. All staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. Area around the property was great, lots of food options. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Overall stay was ok, but perfectible. When I arrived to the room, the toilet seat was not clean, I cleaned it myself. Outside of this, the room was clean. The overall room equipment is good, but the mechanical ventilation system is very very noisy. And you can't stop it as you can with the air conditioning system. The reception staff and the breakfast staff were very nice and helpful. I have asked during my stay for a room cleanup, but when I came back in the evening, someone put a "Do not disturb" sign and the room wasn't cleaned. It has been done the next day, but this was weird.

The staff is wonderful and engaged. We really had a fun time chatting with us and they easily answered any questions we had.

The Marriott is very conveniently located just off the Charlotte beltway and near shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The bed was very comfortable.
