夏洛特埃皮森特市郊雅樂軒飯店(Aloft Charlotte City Center)

Room was super small even though I booked the “bigger” king bedroom. Was very comfortable. We only stayed for 6 or 7 hours on our way through Charlotte NC. So for a place to just sleep, it was great.

I enjoy my stay and I will come back

Our room was clean. That's the best thing I can say about our stay. Parking was unclear and difficult. Staff seemed unprofessional and uncaring. No one wore uniforms or had name tags. The telephone did not work in our room and when we reported it, the front desk person said, "Sure enough, it doesn't work!" The refrigerator in the room did not work and there was not a USB charging port anywhere. No ice makers in the building- only a small freezer on the main floor with ziplock baggies of ice for guests to take to their rooms. At $175 for the room and an additional $25 to park, I expected more.

Love the hotel and use this chain a lot when I travel, but this location is horrible. I would not suggest staying there when there is an event in town. You have to take an elevator from the street to the 5th floor and then change to another elevator to get to your room. I went to the hotel after a concert at the spectrum center and there was a line at the first elevator. Security was telling us that only 4 people could enter at a time, even though there was a sign in the elevator that said you could fit 10. Only one elevator was working. It literally took me an hour and 15 minutes to get to my room. Security would not even open the doors to the stairwell even if you showed them your key card. Horrible experience, not to mention parking was $40 a night, the highest I have ever paid at one of their hotels.

Property was clean but our neighbor guests were super loud. Phone in the room didn’t work so we couldn’t reach front desk . Thar made entire stay not enjoyable . they didn’t do anything but just poorly apologized.

Checked in with Maintenance issues one being the Heat ptac system being noisey. The tech came up and stated that she would fix it. When I came back to my room the issue came back in the middle of the night. The following day I said something about it and they suggested that I moved rooms, but I several things and didn’t want to pack and unpack again and again! Just feel like the room should have been inspected better especially with the price that was paid!

Hotel/room was dirty, one elevator was broken and the other had a spilled drink in it, staff was friendly - but could maybe benefit from some additional training, and don’t choose the breakfast option- waste of money… $20 for a microwaved sandwich and no coffee.

We could hear BOTH SIDES of someone talking on their cell phone through the walls. Alos, people we're racing in the streets all night. The windows did little to block the noise. If noise bothers your sleep this is not the hotel for you.

I should have known when earpplugs were on my pillow. The wall mounted air conditioning sounds like a dump truck running in the room. I do not recommend based on the noise.
