Disappointed. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. My bed was extremely uncomfortable. Very soft on one side with a hump in the middle. There were bleach stains on a chair and on a blanket. The arms of one of the chairs was very badly soiled, and there was a smudge on my headboard. Water pressure was not good . We were also not aware of renovations that were going on on the first floor, and the elevator did not work for most of our stay. though I was offered another room, I declined as I was only staying 2 nights and it was a hassle to move. The valet and bus boys were extremely helpful and so nice though.

From the moment we arrived to the time we departed, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. We booked the hotel due to its proximity to the shore and a host of great attractions within walking distance.

Friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. Everything was great except for the construction outside our room which we were told about before our stay. Very convenient to shopping and the harbour. Would definitely stay there again.

This quaint 52 rum hotel is ideally located in downtown Charleston. It’s walking distance from all the major shopping. It’s great restaurants. The staff is incredible. Everyone was as professional, thoughtful, and very helpful. Their complementary breakfast, wine and cheese, cookies, and milk, just her icing on the cake.
