The hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel just off King street in the heart of Charleston’s shopping district. Great walkable location and staff was very friendly and responsive but the negatives are: 1) it’s the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in at a hotel in a long time. It’s hard as a rock and my husband and I both had sore backs. Usually when we travel the beds are plush and comfy. This one felt like a cheap hotel bed. We were supposed to stay for 4 nights and had to check out after 2 because we couldn’t sleep. I usually wake once in the night and I woke every hour trying to get comfortable. 2) Also the room service options are terrible. It’s all pre-made items that they’ll bring to your room in a “to go” container. It’s like a grab and go salad from the airport not normal room service at a fine hotel. 3) There were no robes in the closet like you find at most nicer hotels. And also no extra blankets.

Nice hotel at a great location. Overall for the price I believe the hotel is overpriced. Exterior looks like it has seen better days. My room was ok . The bathroom floor was in need of renovation. The sink was clogged. I was on the 3 rd floor and you can hear noise from the restaurant. The Eleve restaurant’s menu is very limited as to choices . Valet parking was efficient and fast . The bathroom amenities were limited to shampoo and conditioner. Not exactly what you expect from what is supposed to be a luxurious hotel . Daily room service was not before 2 pm .

Whole staff was accommodating, pleasant, and efficient. Very unexpected first visit. We loved our stay and loved Charleston. Your hotel is very refreshingly different and appealing. The art is way cool. The front desk team and the night manager were fabulous. Eric in the wine bar is exceptionally knowledgeable about wines and palates. Enjoyable conversationalist.

Lovely boutique hotel in the midst of everything! We enjoyed several wonderful meals - in wine bar and rooftop restaurant. We were able to walk to many sightseeing venues, church, shopping and restaurants. Delighted with hotel and appreciate the great service from Elisha (Bellman) and Eric (Wine Bar).

It was fair. Besides all the unusual artwork all over, it was not all that unique over a normal hotel. Other Grand Bohemians are way better. Customer service was just so so. The breakfast too forever and was not even that busy. It took nearly 2 hours from the time we sat down to the time we left. Better option for a nice hotel elsewhere in CHS!!!

Great property with really interesting decor. Room was really good and the bathroom is spacious and well laid out. The location is perfectly situated between the shopping and entertainment areas. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone that wants to explore Charleston.

We loved our stay at the Grand Bohemian! The hotel is so beautiful, awesome rooftop bar, centrally located to all the shopping, and everyone of the staff delivered amazing customer service. I was especially impressed with Estefany who made sure our luggage was safely stored away since we decided to check out and leave everything in her care. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great location. Close to shopping and dining. Loved the rooftop area. There was a nice view of the city. Service was excellent. Staff was very accommodating. Valet was always available and very fast and friendly. Trent and Marisol were very helpful.

My daughter and I stayed here for her Spring Break trip! It was a wonderful experience! The hotel is perfectly located with everything you want to do —history, shopping, dining—an easy walk from your door. The hotel staff was amazing—especially the very helpful, friendly and welcoming front desk staff and the staff in the Maison Cafe who greeted us each day like favorite friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, quiet, comfortable oasis! Can’t wait to come back!
