The hotel is nicely decorated with really comfortable beds. There’s a nice bar and small restaurant on the ground floor as well as the M club for medallion members. The M club wasn’t well stocked when we visited so we stopped by the restaurant. When I told our server, Kane, I was a bit under the weather, she offered the best herbal tea. Kane was so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. She even made sure the next shift had the recipe so I could enjoy it in the morning. Great stay.
BBrenda HI'm starting this by saying that the customer service was fantastic and has nothing to do with why we won't stay at one again and I'm a customer service critic. Don't be in a customer service position if you don't want to provide a great experience for your customer! The main reason we won't stay at one again is because the king bed was way too hard for our liking. We both live with conditions that causes severe pain so we need softer beds. These definitely are not that. This bed caused my hips to start hurting within 30mins of laying on my side. I actually slept on the hideaway bed bc it was softer which btw was the best one I've ever slept on! No ridiculous bar in your back all not and it was long enough. I'm 6' and my feet didn't touch the end. I still had a couple more inches left. I could have had another 6” if needed by removing the pillows at the head of the bed so kudos for that! More hotels need to follow suit if they haven't already! 2nd reason is bc of the room setup. It is all wrong and doesn't accommodate to people with disabilities and people with neck problems in particular. My husband has Ankylosis Spondylitis, a condition that fuses your vertebrae together so having to constantly look to the right when you want to lay in bed creates a lot of pain and actually caused my husband to get a migraine. The TV should be placed across from the bed, parallel walls not perpendicular. 3rd reason is bc the of noise. You could hear everything from the halls and up above us. Whomever it was decided they needed to get their steps in.. 7 stomping paces one way, turnaround, 7 stomping paces back over and over and over, for 3 solid hours actually. That's when we decided to call the front desk who called the customer to tell them to stop. Sadly they had to do it twice. The location is fantastic tho! Any kind of crave you have can be satisfied which is wonderful when you can't make up your mind or have the munchies! We landed on burgers from Longhorn Steakhouse and dessert from Cheesecake Factory. All in all, it was fine for an overnight stay for us. If we weren't all medically messed up, I'm sure the beds would have been fine. I've actually slept on harder. I'm also sure that the room would be acceptable for someone who isn't noise sensitive and doesn't suffer from insomnia.
My family made a reservation at this hotel for a 4 day stay over the Christmas holiday. I had reserved a 2 bedroom suite with a water view, but when we checked in we were given an ADA room that was heavily modified for wheelchair access. I asked the front desk manager to switch our room to a normal non-ADA room, but was told there wasn't one available until tomorrow. So, our stay started out with an issue, but the manager fixed it the next day as promised, but we now have a view of the parking lot and not a water view. Some other issues came up during our stay, such as unreliable hot water, difficult shower activation, WiFi internet connection problems, dirty dishes, missing bathroom shelf. Pros: - Free complimentary hot breakfast (except Christmas Day) - Nice laundry facilities - Safe, walkable surroundings - Reasonable room rate Cons: - $15/day for parking - Paid for water view room but got a parking lot view - The hot water for showering was very inconsistent. Mostly just lukewarm water - The shower in the 2nd bathroom didn't work - Maintenance crew seems to work inconsistent hours - Given an ADA room because it was the only one available - Our room was never cleaned during our stay What I've learned from this experience is to use the Marriott app to check in as early as possible and ask for a non-ADA room. If the app is glitchy and doesn't seem to work, call the hotel directly and ask for a non-ADA room. When I checked out, the general manager did ask about my stay and I filled him in on my experience. He did seem to sincerely care about what I told him, and offered us some compensation which was a nice gesture. As such, we will try this hotel again in the future to hopefully have a better experience.
Me and family stay here last night we were traveling during midnight, tired and with kids. We looked at the hotel, beautiful building, lobby, etc. However, our room OMG, old socks (dirty) next to the bed, human hair on bathroom and everywhere. The carpet looked like if it had dust from years ago. The mini refrigerator so so dirty. I went to the front desk, the person who was there ”Omar” didn't even made eye contact with me all he said was ”thank you” and supposedly there was no manager. Horrible service. Breakfast was ok, coffee tasted horrible, the area was not clean and there was cereal , trash on the counters. I had stayed at other Comfort Inn before and never had something like this horrible and dirty experience. I don't know how in the world this hotel has some good star rating. I was not even able to give my babies a bath due to the unsanitary conditions of the bathroom. Pay $200 for a horrible unsanitary night. Don't waste your money. I was only able to take those to pictures, I was on a hurry to get my kids out of there. Go to the other hotels next to this one.
