克里斯塔波特薩洛飯店(Cresta Botsalo Hotel)

Een aardig hotel voor 1 nachtje, er is een bar restaurant en,zwembad. Het eten is goed maar het restaurant is niet echt gezellig ingericht. Het personeel heeft ons wel heel vriendelijk geholpen. ontbijt is in buffet vorm en er is weer voldoende keus. De kamer is ruim met een ruime badkamer, de douchekopma wel een schoonmaak beurt gebruiken (kalk) Wel vonden wij het erg gehorig in de kamer,

A comparative review here might help fellow travellers. Having stayed at Cresta Mahalapye and Cresta Botsalo (Palapye), which are both functional for travellers as roadside stopovers, my preference is Cresta Mahalapye for a couple of reasons. To be fair I gathered that Cresta Botsalo is a 2star and the Mahalapye one is a 3star, however my evaluation lies with my experience of both. 1. Outward appearance: Cresta looks way better and has a clean look to it. 2. Location: Cresta Mahalapye is in an uncluttered area and near a shopping mall where you can find the commonly known SA shops. 3. The Cresta Mahalapye rooms had a more fresher (found liquid stains on the rug at Cresta Palapye which could just be the one room) look although the decor is similar. 4. Both are small hotels, but the Cresta Mahalapye reception area is roomier. 5. Ratewise both could go a little lower… they have that neat roadside motel feel.

The self service apartment we slept at are indeed very nice, very comfortable, classy... One thing I'd recommend would be for you guys to have line extensions.

The road to access the hotel is really terrible especially for the small cars...add the area to GPS for easy access...swimming pool was terrible, very dirty and lastly rtv channels and other refreshing things like snooker are needed especially for the fact that it's far from the malls

The hotel really need an overall revamp it will be ideal for the hotel just to give it a modern look. The pool really needs to be taking care of on regular basis.I doubt if there are guest who even use the pool to cool themselves. It doesnt look good at all.

I had a good experience at Cresta Botsalo hotel. The staff was friendly and eager to assist. The location is good with easy access to shopping areas, gas stations and other amenities. The room was clean and food was great.

Cresta Botsalo is conveniently located along the highway between Gaborone and Francistown. And it boasts ample parking space. The hotel, however, has I'd call two wings, the old rooms and the new section that looks pretty good from the outside. I was in one of the old rooms and that is what I will be talking about. For the price the room is comparable to what one would get from the lodges in town, plain and no decor. It also lacks some amenities such as a basic carpet in the room to afford one some basic comfort. On the good side, the WiFi is working perfectly and there is ample USB charging ports for one's gadgets. The room furniture is basic and antiquated. There is a restaurant for hot meals within the building, like with all major hotels in the country. The price we paid for two, per person sharing, was affordable and surprisingly it was equivalent to what one would pay for an individual. I'd recommend one to first check their newer section when booking as it seems to be better furnished.

The reception was welcoming, did my booking via telephone and the next day was called to confirm if i wll make it, this showed me that i was valuable to the hotel. Came with two kids, and was given more blankets for them..all in all the trip was top notch. Thanks very m7ch Botsalo 😃
