One of the best experiences by far. Great beach and location. Room booked is a bit dated but still lovely. Although there was not enough provision for outlets as the beds cover them, we were provided with extension cord upon request. The stream of water from the shower is okay but I prefer it to be stronger.
The restaurant serves delicious food and the breakfast buffet is ample. I noticed that there was one instance when the restaurant gets some orders mixed up but they were addressed immediately.
The staff are efficient, accommodating, and helpful.
Overall, you get your money’s worth.
Will definitely go back.

Very friendly staff. The area is beautiful. The room
Is clean. Food has local taste even for some foreign dishes that they offer. Cozy place dor strolling but there are so many dogs and cats roaming the area. My name was also written wrong on the monitors and the card. Kudos for the effort though!

Restauration à revoir dans son intégralité tant au niveau gustatif qu'au niveau qualitatif. Exemple : il a fallu attendre 1/2 heure pour avoir un sachet de thé au petit déjeuner, jus d'orange en poudre, des frites rances, immangeables. Dommage le restaurant n'est pas du tout au niveau du reste de la prestation.

The room is quiet okay for the price. The restaurant is TERRIBLE BAD. Service has no experience. The food is just tooo costly for what you expect and to know as a guest you dont have any other option for restaurant its the only one in the area. Eat it and pay for it even you are totally dissapointed. Its nice to see the place only ONCE and NOT anymore !!!!!

Das Hotel liegt direkt am wunderschönen Strand und bietet eine gepflegte Anlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Unser Zimmer war grosszügig, sauber und mit einem grossen Bad ausgestattet. Das Essen im Restaurant hat uns überzeugt und wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit Blick auf den Strand und das Meer hat es zahlreiche Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten mit Schatten.

Punta Bulata Beach Resort liegt an einem absoluten Traumstrand. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Restaurant liess keine Wünsche offen. Wir hatten eine Massage, die sehr gutgetan hat. Das Personal war super freundlich. Ein super Ort zum Entspannen. Vielen Dank

L'hôtel avait été privatisé pour un mariage avec une cérémonie sur la plage au soleil couchant et un buffet le soir pour 100 personnes. Nous sommes arrivés la veille pour nous reposer et profiter du cadre. On peut se promener le long de la plage mais la mer ne donne pas vraiment envie de se baigner. Notre chambre donnant sur la piscine était spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bains mais très bruyante quand il y a des gens dans la piscine. Petit-déjeuner compris avec une personne qui fait cuire les œufs à la demande en omelette, au plat ou brouillés, du riz et du corn beef pour les Philippins mais le personnel ne comprend pas toujours l'anglais et ils sont très flegmatiques. Les plats à la carte sont bien préparés et délicieux. Ne convient pas aux fauteuils roulants. On peut commander un massage en chambre à prix très correct.

AHH Punta Bulata, what can I say other than I have had better stays at a mexican prison! We stayed there from June 13 to 15/ 2023. Let me recap. Upon arrival, we were DOWNGRADED from our ocean view room to an ordinary room because our booked room was "under construction". No advanced email to notify. Instead, forced to use downgraded room for 1 night and moved to 2nd floor oceanview room for 2nd night as it was occupied. Ocieanview room: no smart tv, no walk in shower, smaller tv, no bed for 3rd guest, only floor mattress. No individual shampoo or body wash. Instead, it was a pump bottle for both. Internet: sketchy at best. Had to use "pocket wifi" which did not work when 1. One person had it and the other was away from them. Pocket wifi could be accessed by anyone while out of the room. Spotty at best, get used to "No connection to wifi" on your phone. Was told by website, "Free Wifi"...Not true, pocket wifi is only good for 5 gig, paid for, and when it ran out, you have to pay for more. Restaurant was supposed to be "free internet zone" but had to flag down a server and get password. Restaurant: This was ridiculous! 1st, you had to order your meals WELL in advance, at least an hour. When you sat down to eat, they brought your food to the table. 2nd, the kitchen staff can't read! So you get what you get. On the first night, I ordered a steak, MEDIUM RARE, when it was brought out, it was well done, and brought out last! Everyone was finished their meal and waiting for me. Next morning, ordered 3 eggs over easy, got them sunnyside up, again, not what I ordered, but ate anyway. Supper on the 2nd night, ordered a CHEESEBURGER and fries. The fries came out, everyone got their food. No cheeseburger. GRILLED CHEESE was brought to the table, even though the order sheet clearly indicated CHEESEBURGER. I cancelled the order, left the restaurant, only to find out that chicken was returned to the kitchen where the kitchen staff and servers LAUGHED!. I did not eat until morning where I proceeded to make myself 2 toasts. Excursions: we booked with resort front counter, an "Island hopping" tour complete with a snorkelling adventure, for 2:30pm. We arrived at 2:40pm only to find that beachgoers had booked for 1pm, came late, but WE were bumped and not able to go. Was told disrespectfully by "Island hopping" staff that "time was time". Basically, sorry about your luck. No paddleboards, even thougg we were told they had them. ONLY KAYAKS! Booked 3 hours with kayaks and was told repeatedly by the rental staff: Don:t go there, don't go past there, don't go over there, basically left with "straight out, straight back to shore. Lastly, after repeated complaints were made, resort staff made no attempt to compensate or discount the overpriced experience except to not charge us for items used in our first room, which we still ended up paying for. We recognize the importance of reliable internet connectivity and are actively taking measures to enhance stability and coverage throughout our property. However, the local internet service providers in Cauayan are experiencing delays in repairing the lines due to the severe damage caused by recent super typhoons, which is beyond our control. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and want to assure you that we are exploring alternative solutions to offer some level of convenience. Additionally, we acknowledge the oversight in not updating our website information. Please note that we do not charge our guests for any load requests. Our policy is 5GB per day per room, and we have provided free load to your wife, family members, and other guests. We deeply regret the inconsistencies and errors in your dining experiences. The issues with food orders and service are unacceptable, and we are conducting a thorough investigation to prevent their recurrence. According to their explanation, you initially canceled the boat trip due to cloudy weather. Subsequently, they proceeded with other divers, and when you expressed your desire to proceed with the trip later, it was unfortunately too late as the schedule had already been assigned to another diver. Easy Diving extends their apologies for the misunderstanding. We acknowledge that your stay fell short of your expectations, and we genuinely aim to provide you with the level of service and comfort you deserve. If you decide to visit the country and Cauayan again, please feel free to email me directly. My wife and I were married at Punta Bulata 10 years ago so we booked a return for our anniversary. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. Although the room and its furnishings have been updated the level of service certainly hasn't. We constantly had to follow up on food & drinks orders and the supposed USDA steak I had for dinner was the worst steak I have ever encountered - it wouldn't have been out of place as a sole on a miner's boot. A complaint was made to the "manager" who offered us a complimentary apple flan dessert (one small piece and 2 spoons) - not much recompense for a P4500 "steak". In general the prices charged are equivalent to much classier venues in Cebu & Manila but the standards are severely lacking as is the quality. We will certainly not return and not recommend to anyone else.

My partner and I were excited as this trip to Punta Bulata was our first trip for 2026. BEACH AREA: nice and relaxing; good view of sunset. POOL: DIRTY! They have a jacuzzi that looked like the water hasn’t been change for a while. Looked like still-water. STAFF: friendly front desk; however, F&B staff were slow, can’t even prepare table properly. Reminded countless times we need water, plates and Utensils. Often times, we were ignored if we didn’t shout for them. ROOM: good, clean FOOD: SLOW. It would take an hour or sometimes more to complete our orders. Even when ordering in advance, still delayed. Need to remind them we ordered hours ahead. Not worth the price, small portions, no presentation and often times cold. Felt like ordering from a karenderya. AYU SPA: WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. It feels like “hilot” instead of massage. Checked out from the resort with a very bad back pain that needed medical therapy time. Overall, wouldn’t go back for seconds.
