昂斯特德 SPA 飯店(The Umstead Hotel and Spa)

This was the best hotel experience I've had in a long time, the service and staff were incredible very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful we will be back to experience the rest of the amenities that the hotel has to offer,we had a full schedule to achieve and had limited time to get the full experience . Thank you again

The whole facility is very well appointed and the smart switches in the room is a nice touch. That said, no hotel I've ever been to was perfect and this is no expection. As for nitpicks, I would recommend an option for foam-filled pillows over feathers because I had to constantly fluff them through the night and it significantly degraded my sleep. The linens were a bit too short and flat for my taste as well. Another small annoyance was the fridge drawer was filled with beverages that they charge you for, with no room left for your own items so i had to take out some of their bottles to fit mine. Otherwise, it was a luxurious establishment overall but for the price, I expected better. The Grandover in Greensboro (for example) was half the price and every bit as luxuious.

The Umstead has a well trained, friendly staff who are always there to help with any request. In fact, we had a car problem during our stay and the front desk was beyond helpful in assisting with our travel plans in relation to the car repair and stay at the hotel. Our room was serviced regularly and always immaculately cleaned. The setting is beautiful and relaxing while being conveniently located. The only minor change I might even think of suggesting is having more vegetarian options on the menus.

Very nice hotel with many options. Although I wish we would have known the Spa was not open?!?! Wanted to enjoy a couples massage.

The hotel was amazing! Room was spacious and clean. All requests can be made through iPad located in room. Had breakfast several times at the restaurant. Staff was friendly and food was excellent. Book afternoon tea in advance of your stay (we were not able to get reservations). The spa was fully booked when I called one week before, and if you visit, you will see why! I was able to call when we arrived and booked a service for each of us. Spa Service comes with additional time do utilize all of the facilities. One of the best spas I have ever seen. convenient location with many shops close by. 15 minutes from airport. Well lit parking on site. Will absolutely stay again on our next trip to North Carolina.

I’m super picky about cleanliness. This met my expectations. Very clean and good old fashion service. Turned down beds and daily cleaning. Excellent dining service. Food and drinks wonderful. Peaceful, good walking around property. We will be back to enjoy again!!

I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here. Rooms are dark and sp****…not luxurious for the price. Definitely going for a downtown NYC vibe, but missing the mark.

We spent the weekend with friends and could not have been more pleased with The Umstead experience.
