綠燈旅館(Carmel Green Lantern Inn)

BEWARE! The property is in a quaint area. My family drove all day to get there, was put in a room that did not match the ******* reservation, which the front desk person told me later happens with ******* bookings. Stay was a comedy of errors. Smoke detector repeatedly went off in the middle of the night, dogs barking through paper thin walls, neighbors above us kept us up just walking on the creaking floors. Not what we expected for $500/night. When I described our poor experience the next morning, the same employee who checking us in did refund our money for the next two nights. He told me the manager/owner would be calling me shortly. We waited all day and then I repeatedly attempted to get in touch with the manager to reimburse us for our stay, but she never even tried to reply to me despite 4 calls and an email. Did not even make the effort and I still have not heard back. Just extremely poor experience and extremely poor customer service. BE ADVISED

Hotel super fofo, confortável, banheiro espaçoso. Não tem café da manhã mas eles colocam croissant, bolo e cafe para que possamos comer.

Great location. 2nd bed was upstairs with very dangerous/steep/small stairs that were almost impossible to navigate. Not at all acceptable for an elderly person or anyone over 5 foot tall.

Fortunately, we didn't spend time trying to relax in the room. There was only a small desk chair that 1 person could sit in or on the bed, which would not have been comfortable. 'Free' breakfast meant you had to turn in a form with your request (1 request per person!) by 8:30 pm, and tell them what time you planned to pick it up the next morning. When we went for ours - on time - everything was cold and not very good. We didn't bother the second day. Overall, the room wasn't at all what we expected or hoped for - especially for the price, and for a romantic anniversary trip to Carmel. For over $400/night, it was really NOT worth it! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Me gusto mucho el diseño, la cama y la habitación muy cómoda, todo estaba muy limpio, de fácil acceso y buena ubicación.

I would like to see some upgrades. Everything is very old.

This is my 2nd year in a row staying here and I love it!! The rooms are so cute and unique. The staff is kind. The area is well kept. And it’s within walking distance from the main shopping in Carmel.

Very confortable and very close to the commercial zone (shop and restaurants)

We really like this place! Our second time already, it's peaceful and cozy.
