The manager was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very very clean. I was on my own and felt safe and didn't worry about being there. Thank you. Will always use 7 West when visiting Carleton Place. Lea

We were passing through as we had a wedding in Almonte and stayed only one night. Alex was very nice when we checked in and the room was clean, the only thing I would mention is that the showers could use a bit of updating but other than that we would definitely stay here again.

Check in was easy, staff accommodating and friendly, . allowed for an early check in. Restaurant is shut down. Roof in need of some major work, building is tired.

Misleading.... The pictures that are online are not what the room is. I did take pictures. For starters, the room had a funky odour to it. The carpets were filthy our white socks were black after walking across room. Lets not get started on the air conditioning unit, it did absolutely nothing, I checked the filter and it was clogged with dirt and dust or whatever it had. Just by looking at the filter I can only imagine what the rest of the unit looked like. Lets talk about the floor at the entrance of the room, it measures approximately 3.5 ft by 3.5 ft square that is raised roughly an inch and a half higher than the rest of the floor in the room. This poises a massive tripping hazard in the middle of the night in the dark. The main door isn't secure, the chain is coming off the wall as well as the handle isn't that secure. The bathroom is an area of concern. Where the toilet and the bathtub/shower is to small. You can barely move around. The bathtub doesn't drain well because there seems to be a trough in the middle, most likely the tub has collapsed there. this is also making it hard to stand in the tub. The water flow and faucet. There is fluctuation in water pressure and temperature. The controls are old an the spout is rusting. The beds seem to new but extremely hard in time they might soften up. This motel isn't disabled friendly, there are no ramps up to the rooms. Also the first driveway entrance has a huge pot hole that can cause damage to a vehicle.

Our first thought was oh crap, no matter what we paid let's just go find another place. The exterior looked run down. When we checked the room out (213) we were met with the extreme smell of cleaning agents. (it was clean). And the mattress were surprisingly firm and in good condition. The bed linens were alot outdated but manageable. However..... The bathtub faucet had a constant drip. There was mold or grime or dirt or something near the bottom of the door by the bathtub. If the bathroom had been recently "renovated" they did a terrible job. There were cracked tiles. (maybe they didn't get the this room yet?).... We were there just to put our heads on a pillow for the night. Next time we will spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

Property is run down, water stains on ceiling, carpet has dirt spots, paint pealing. Litter around property, ****s growing everywhere

Warning! Never book this place. We did not stay. *******'s ad does not represent this Motel 7. Property is unkempt and dangerous for walking. Rooms are musty, smelly, damaged and unlivable. The owner is aggressive, insistent and devious. But he still charged me. I will never use ******* again. I cannot trust them.
