We couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our last 4 days in Cape Town! Our stay at Penguins View Guesthouse was absolutely perfect! John and Heather were incredibly helpful and attentive whenever we needed anything, making us feel right at home. The Lightroom Studio was exactly as advertised - beautiful and cozy. We soaked in the stunning views every day! Highly recommend this gem

I recently stayed at Penguins View Guesthouse and couldn't have been more pleased. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee or a sunset wind-down. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge. One of the best parts? It's just a short walk to the famous penguin beach! Waking up and strolling over to watch the penguins in their natural habitat was a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone visiting the area!

The condo was a perfect location for our 3 days visit to Cape Town area. Within walking distance, you have Boulder beach and a public beach across the golf course. Simon's town has several restaurants. Driving to Cape Point and Cape Town was amazing and not too far away (within 1hrs). The condo itself is well equipped and has everything you need.

We stayed at Penguin Guest House in November 2024 during our two week stay from UK. I can not praise our choice of place to stay enough. Communication in advance was first class. On arrival we found a spotless room with some little special touches, stunning views and the icing on cake was kind, thoughtful and big hearted hosts. A must stay.

We stayed here three nights and enjoyed every moment! OK, there was some construction work going on, but on daytime we were on the road - and it really not disturb us. Weather was not best possible - but despite that we enjoyed every moment here. Had it been warmer, it would have been even better outdoors. Great scenery. excellent room with all necessary equipment. We really enjoyed every staying here. Short walking distance to Boulders Beach. Two mornings we were the first guest and shot some amazing photoes. Owners are very friendly couple, nice conversations with them. Earlier years we have been two times watching penguins, but stayed other locations. Now we know - this is The Place to return!

Hübsches Ansehen in Simons Town
Schönes und sehr gut organisiertes Gasthaus in Simons Town in unmittelbarer Nähe der Pinguine. Alles ist sehr gut organisiert.
Frühstück gibt es 5min zu Fuss im Boulders Hotels falls man nicht selber kochen will.

A perfect weekend after a week-long conference in Cape Town for some peaceful relaxation and ease of penguin viewing! Did not disappoint at all. Wonderful accomodations, great walk from Guesthouse to Boulders Beach and the penguin reserve, easy to drive to Cape Point/Cape of Good Hope and easy drive into town to explore and eat!! All in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again!!
