漫步飯店(Hotel on the Promenade)

We must admit that we were hesitant in booking such a small hotel. As it turned out, this hotel is half a block from the waterfront boardwalk where we walked to watch the sunset every night. Very important, we felt safe in this hotel. The rooms are a bit smaller than larger hotels, but for 2 people there was plenty of room. It does not have a pool or fitness room, but that is not why we went to Cape Town. The room does include an Apple computer for personal use. Our room had a huge balcony where we sat outside every night. It is in the perfect location, with easy access to everywhere. We used Uber for getting around the city. It was just minutes and a few dollars from the hotel to the V&A waterfront. Shops for buying your own food or drinks to have in your room are just a short walk away. The hotel owners were always on site and always friendly and available to us. The included breakfast offered more food than we could eat. The hotel is also a very busy public restaurant where we ordered several of the meals offered on the menu every night. Each meal we ordered was awesome and we offered our praise to the chef. Sometimes there were a few language issues with the restaurant staff, but that must be expected in a multi-cultural society. But everyone was friendly and polite, ready to take care of all our needs. We felt safe and comfortable in the middle of a huge city.

Boutique hotel with breakfast, excellent Bistro and very conveniently located close all amenities. Owner was only too happy to accommodate my special requests. The only comment I can make is that I would have liked to be able to have full DTSTV programmes instead of only BBC News and Netflix. We will certainly stay there on our next trip to Cape Town.

In diesem Hotel war ich jetzt das erste Mal und bin nur durch Zufall darauf gestoßen, welch ein Glück - ich werde dieses Hotel bei meiner nächsten reise auf jeden fall buchen. Wer sich etwas gutes leisten möchte - gute Betten, tolles Ambiente, ein fantastisches Bad, sehr gute und günstige Angebot für Mittag- und Abendspeisen, eine hervorragende Auswahl an Weinen, ein ausgesprochen nettes und zugewandtes Personal und eine herzliche Leitung runden meine Eindrücke ab. There can only be one response to this: This hotel is unique. I've been traveling to South Africa for many years now and I believe I have a good overview of the hotel offerings. I was in this hotel for the first time now and stumbled upon it by chance, what luck - I will definitely book this hotel on my next trip. If you want to afford something good - good beds, great ambiance, a fantastic bathroom, very good and affordable options for lunch and dinner, an excellent selection of wines, extremely friendly and attentive staff, and a warm management round off my impressions.

The rooms is very comfortable and big enough, my room had a balcony, which is great too. I was offered even before arrival a free of charge upgrade to an upstairs room, Luc , the owner, really accommodates all the needs. I could even stay on the day of the check out a little longer until 2.30 pm instead of 11am, therefore I could use the room until I had to get to the airport! They have great coffee and restaurant too. Everything is walking distance at Seapoint, the hotel is in a small street, therefore it is quiet, but the Promenade is only 2 minutes walk. Breakfast is very good! Location is excellent! The staff members are cheerful and kind.

Wir waren leider nur 2 Nächte in diesem hübschen kleinen Hotel bevor wir wieder nach Hause reisten. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und es hat alle was man braucht, die Zimmer sind auch sehr schön eingerichtet und vom Balkon sieht man sogar das Meer. Zur Waterfront ist es etwas weiter aber gut machbar. In 3 Minuten ist man an der Promenade. Auch das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

Hôtel très soigné et très accueillant. On y mange très bien et les patrons sont belges parlant français et anglais et sont très chaleureux et de bons conseils. Nous nous y sommes beaucoup plus. A recommander. Bonne situation à 2 minutes du front de mer idéale pour la promenade.

This was my third time to visit Cape Town and first time to stay in Sea Point. The location of this boutique hotel is ideal, just 100 metres off the stunning promenade….We saw some of the most amazing sunsets from this Prom during our visit. I stayed with my daughter for 4 nights in this exceptional hotel. We had a twin room which was large and had every facility you could require. There was a very large rain shower, an I Mac, facility to watch Netflix on the TV…an expresso machine. The owner was very flexible with check in and check out. An amazing breakfast is included in the room rate. We ate lunch and dinner in the hotel which were both of a very high standard. There is a stop for the hop on hop off bus just 100 metres from the hotel. The real jewel in the crown for this hotel is the amazing staff especially those that work in the Bistro. They were so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and really hope to make a return visit.

We spent five nights at The Hotel on the Promenade. Luc and his staff made our stay memorable and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was lovely and the food was really good. The hotel is in a great area to stay. A pleasant walk along the promenade to the V&A Waterfront or a short cab ride.

La ubicación: perfecta, céntrico, y totalmente seguro, a cinco andando a la playa. El desayuno más que perfecto, de hecho más que un desayuno es un brunch. Habitación con terraza y totalmente completas.
