The location is amidst all the festivities. The hotel is located on top of a shopping mall, and the restaurants are at the front near a busy road that you have to cross to reach the beach. This road is full of beach vendors, groups of children singing for money, and beggars begging. We asked to cancel the booking 10 minutes after checking in (12:00). They said they would get back to us. Around 22:00, we still had no conclusion and the reception asked us to go to sleep. The next morning, a woman from the reception would speak to us with a solution. None of this happened, we were not called back, and the only thing they suggested was that if my room gets booked, we would get our money back. Of course, as guests, we cannot check this and it has not been arranged to date. We have paid over 800 EUR / 1000 USD per night and are still waiting for the conclusion. Now had to call the booking 10 times but still no solution. The owner or hotel manager is anything but reasonable and leaves the dirty work to her reception staff. Only after standing in the reception for an hour did she speak to us. This is absolutely not a 5-star hotel, the price-quality ratio is completely off. The hotel does not have its own restaurants inside the hotel. They do everything to make you pay the maximum and then they leave you hanging. Shameful way of working.
