馬利精品飯店(The Marly Boutique Hotel)

Lovely hotel in central Camps Bay location. Don’t be put off by entering via an upmarket shopping centre- aside from this being unusual everything is perfect and in fact it turns out to be a positive as you’re staying right at the heart of Camps Bay. Staff extremely warm and helpful and the room was beautiful. Mountain and sea views also stunning. The restaurants belonging to the hotel group are also all excellent. Lovely rooftop pool with plenty of comfortable sunbeds

I stayed here for several days at the end of a work trip to unwind before a (very long!) flight back the US. I could not have been happier with my stay. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. This property is beautiful and elegant. No details have been overlooked. The room was quiet, clean and luxurious. The spa services were excellent (facial and massage) and sunsets from rooftop pool are even more gorgeous in person. The breakfast overlooking the ocean is not to be missed. The hotel went above and beyond to take care of me and I hope to return in the future!

Excellent, très bel accueil. La chambre très bien situé avec une excellente vue sur les montagnes 12 apôtres. Chambres très spacieuses. A coté des restaurant de très bonnes qualité et sur le toit un bar piscine magnifiques. Le personnel très proche du client et vraiment disponible. Un merci particulier à Modeste qui parle très bien Français et qui a rempli notre document pour les Seychelles. Le personnel est vraiment de très bonne qualité! The hotel is beautiful in a modern pristine way. As you walk in to your sea-facing room you are wowed by the beautiful picture window view of the ocean, The room is spacious and decorated in whites and greys which is peaceful and fits in with the ocean views If you like to sleep with open windows instead of using the Aircon I would suggest a Mountain-view room which has equally beautiful views, and would definitely be quieter at night Parking on the roof top is perfect Staff are uber friendly and competent Breakfast at the various restaurants is excellent with modern menus the new roof top pool deck is a special place tor relax and enjoy cocktails The location is in the buzz of Camps Bay beach area - lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, ease of catching Uber,

What an amazing place to stay! We can’t thank everyone at The Marly enough for making our stay so incredible. Our room was absolutely beautiful & the location of the hotel is unbeatable. The roof top pool & bar are spectacular with views of table mountain behind & the stunning beach in front. But above everything else stay here for the fantastic staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Special mentions go to Pedro, such energy & friendliness and Melindri who miraculously got us a cancellation at La Colombe which is one of the very best dining experiences of our lives but every single person we encountered was superb.

The location is amidst all the festivities. The hotel is located on top of a shopping mall, and the restaurants are at the front near a busy road that you have to cross to reach the beach. This road is full of beach vendors, groups of children singing for money, and beggars begging. We asked to cancel the booking 10 minutes after checking in (12:00). They said they would get back to us. Around 22:00, we still had no conclusion and the reception asked us to go to sleep. The next morning, a woman from the reception would speak to us with a solution. None of this happened, we were not called back, and the only thing they suggested was that if my room gets booked, we would get our money back. Of course, as guests, we cannot check this and it has not been arranged to date. We have paid over 800 EUR / 1000 USD per night and are still waiting for the conclusion. Now had to call the booking 10 times but still no solution. The owner or hotel manager is anything but reasonable and leaves the dirty work to her reception staff. Only after standing in the reception for an hour did she speak to us. This is absolutely not a 5-star hotel, the price-quality ratio is completely off. The hotel does not have its own restaurants inside the hotel. They do everything to make you pay the maximum and then they leave you hanging. Shameful way of working.

Rooms: Clean and large rooms. We chose one with a view of Table Mountain which we had understood would be quieter than facing the road/sea. However, we had to contend with the noise (and smoke) from the generator which came on for several hours each to deal with the daily Cape Town powercuts. Next time we would 100% get a sea view room which is away from generator. Staff: The reception and housekeeping staff are incredibly helpful and they are a real asset to the hotel. Location: Very handy for the beach (as are all hotels on the Camps Bay *****), also it's above shops and restaurants. The rooftop pool and bar are quiet and have wonderful views of the beach and mountain. The only downside is that taxis don't always realise they have to drive up to the entrance through the multi storey car park. Or you can walk down the steps and stand on the street to get an Uber which also wasn't a great option. This is because the hotel is effectively above the shops and so there is no traditional street level entrance.

I had a great massage and facial ( done by two different therapists ) Unfortunately the last 10 minutes of my facial the therapist spoiled my experience by telling me how much she appreciates getting tipped, how it’s nice to get extra money and generally hinting for tips this was very off putting as I had planned to tip anyway but I didn’t appreciated the therapist basically telling me she wanted to get tipped

A wonderful hotel. Every single member of staff is so helpful friendly & professional. They just want to make sure you’re having a good time. Nothing is to much trouble. A special mention to Modest & MarcelleThey recommended some wonderful Resturant’s and booked them for us. Rooms are very spacious and really clean. It was my sons birthday why we here and they gave him a lovely cake. Would defiantly return to the Marly. Thank you for making our stay so special.
