Neighbourgood 84 Harrington

Hotel itself is nice. But the staff are very unprofessional. Checking in took 1 hour. The hairdryer in the rooms didn’t work. Rooms were not cleaned properly from the previous time. Staff members were rude and could not accommodate us with our travel plans.

Die Unterkunft war toll gelegen, mit einigen netten Bars, Cafés und Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Ausstattung war ebenfalls sehr gut, mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank und Küche. Wir hatten einen direkten Blick auf den Tafelberg, was ebenfalls sehr beeindruckend war. Auch das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, so konnten wir z. B. beim Check-Out problemlos unser Gepäck noch für ein paar Stunden abgeben.

Really enjoyed our stay at 84 Harrington. The room was immaculate, we had a massive king size bed with fresh cotton linen… it was such a treat! The restaurant offers awesome food, sandwiches, pizza, salads and tapas. They also have a fabulous bar on the 5th floor that makes great cocktails - the Paloma was my favourite. Location is awesome, we will definitely stay here again!

Wow what an experience, clean and very different hotel. Really enjoyed the open plan set up, the kitchen, lounge and the bedroom... The work area/desk was a bit of an after thought but the big dining table makes up for it. Amazing ventilation and views of the Mountain. First hotel I have seen in SA that doesn't use physical cards as you are sent a card you can scan from your cell. Gym is small, but sufficient. 8 out 10 for me! great hotel

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Instead of a tiny en-suite room, we got a 4 room suite, at the same price as the big name brands. Our suite had a spacious bedroom, walk in closet/ small office, bathroom with shower and open-plan lounge, dining, kitchen. The amenities are first class and high tech. The location is sensational with sweeping views of table mountain, in the heart of District Six, which is Cape Town's new hot spot for entertainment, coffee shops and quirky bars. The staff were absolutely amazing. Everything is new and the approach to lifestyle is really fresh. I will definitely book here again.

Harrington Street is stylishly furnished and a perfect location for a business trip in Cape Town. It is easily accessible via Uber. There is a great restaurant on site for a quick breakfast before heading out. I recommend the fresh juice to kick-start the morning.
