Residence Inn Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach

was ok..its just that no one assist me with my luggage.but overall its ok

The first impression at check in wasn’t great. It was slow and very loud in the lobby. When it became my turn to check in, I kept getting interrupted by the party who had just checked in before me and the receptionist kept turning away during my interaction with her. I asked for a roll away bed and was told it would be $20, which I was fine with. I never got the roll away, but also wasn’t charged for it. I know the staff cannot help how other patrons act, but felt she could have told them to wait a minute while finishing with me. Room was ok, but pull out sofa was horribly uncomfortable. No one ever came to collect our trash so we bagged it up ourselves each day and took it down the hall to a bigger can. The body wash, shampoo, & conditioner dispensers in the shower had two body washes, one conditioner and no shampoo. Pool area was great as was the breakfast buffet staff.

Needed a stop on the way to a wedding, close to the Kennedy Space Center. We spent 2 nights in a 2 bedroom, 4 adults and a 5 year old. Nice rooms with split bedroom plan, comfortable beds (pull our sofa needs help) and very functional kitchen. Pool, hot tub and fire pit were very good. Breakfast varied daily and was plentiful and excellent!

There isn’t much dining places around if you don’t have a vehicle. The pull out couch mattress is old and the mattress needs to be replace the mattress dips mattress was so bad you can feel the metal bars and springs in your back with two people sleeping on the pull out you end up rolling into the dip of the mattress. We had to ask for a roll away bed and keep the couch as a couch that was more comfortable than pulling the couch into a bed. The good thing about the hotel was we could soak our aching back in the whirlpool tub they had and enjoyed the pool. The breakfast’s was very good.

Overall, this stay was excellent. It was very close to our cruise port, and we could see the ships from our balcony. Check in should not have taken 40 minutes, there was only one person at the desk and a long line. Also, paying to have the right to park there when I spent nearly $400 on a room for a night is kind of ridiculous. This policy should change.

So far, this property is fulfilling all of our needs. We wanted a property close to dining for this evening as well as close to the cruiseport for our cruise tomorrow. It seems our needs are being met!!

Great accommodations. The location is perfect. We were going on a cruise and it's convenient. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and professional. We will be back next time we are going on a cruise out of Cape Canaveral.

We liked the fact that it was in walking distance to restaurants, gas station ,shops but they have a bar and small restaurant on site. Free breakfast. Offer a shuttle to the port but its $12 a person you can uber for half of that. They have a pool, hot tub and patio with a firepit. Room was ready when we arrived.
