Holiday Inn 伍爾弗漢普頓(Holiday Inn Wolverhampton - Racecourse)

Hotel was a great stay, staff friendly and service was great, food at restaurant was delicious.

Lovely staff, young and rushed off their feet, stayed for one night, stayed before 2018. Confused I paid for the privilege to stay in the hotel to attend the horse racing and watch Madness. Yet was confused that the hotel let anyone in to use the bar, from the race course when there was ample bars in the race ground for anyone not staying at the hotel. After Madness finished the only bar open is the hotel bar, because show is finished 10.00 home time and they want you out if you’re not staying at the hotel, which is fine, but if you are staying in the hotel as many of us were , bar was full, rammed so of course people wanted to sit outside because there are tables for the hotel outside but security had been told not to let anyone outside with drinks, how stupid is this, I understand you want to close the race course, so you need to restrict people from using the hotel if they aren’t staying there, and don’t be greedy and take peoples money knowing your going to be 60 people plus in a reception bar area, tiny thing like covdi happen few years back you should only serve hotel guest because that’s what you are, a hotel. And help the poor bar staff, young girl on her own, blokes walking out with 3/4 pints not paying and she’s on her own can’t chase them. Ps didn’t stay for breakfast too expensive, I was going to but even though it had increased in price quite a bit, but remembered it was cold last time we stayed.

Friendly staff, clean comfy room, quite area close to the city centre. Definitely be visiting again...

Absolutely rubbish time and time again reception staff asking have you paid for your room time and time again showed proof of payment different staff asking also stopped my key cards from working the second day for no reason again harrrased I got the feeling it was a racial thing against me and my family as we are Asian very unpleasant upset my son his 6 years old I am in the middle of court action against holiday inn

First can I say the staff were great....but the hotel was dated , I had a twin room instead of a double. The gym had hardly anything in it . The food was average at best. I had a call from reception 1.30am to tell me someone tried to steal my van. Never had this before in years. The hotel to there credit let me park it in a compound for the rest of the night and the next evening . But if parking there please be careful . Night Porter said it would of been stolen to order

I have never written a review for a hotel despite staying at many hotels but this one was so bad I feel morally obligated to do so. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Me and my girlfriend went for a weekend away to the races and paid £153 for one night at this hotel. I wouldn't even recommend staying here for free after our experience. First of all, our room was a car crash from the start. The shower would only project boiling hot water despite all the temperature settings being tried - resulting in the fire alarm going off and someone ringing our room from reception saying "Let me guess, shower", someone then had to come up to the room and fix the shower, and they quoted "This happens all the time" - so why hasn't anything been done about it? The TV also wasn't working, about 3 buttons on the remote worked, a staff member came up to try and fix it to no avail. We waited over an hour and nobody came. When we got in late at night - it was repaired, but still, why was it not checked or sorted prior to our stay? Does anybody oversee room maintenance?! The window sills, the walls, the bathroom were all dirty, dusty, full of cracks, old-looking and clearly had not been renovated, painted, fixed or cleaned properly in a long time. The breakfast in the morning was the worst experience of the lot. All drinks (milk, water, juices) were WARM and in PIMMS jugs. The table next to us had dirty dishes & staff/kitchen area was right next to us and left open for a grim view

Very dissapointed. Room above the kitchen. Woke up around 7am staff talking shouting, doors banging every minute. Sound of dishes and rverything fro the kitchen. I wonder if people stay in that room why that problem hasnt been fixed or was it only us allocated that room after paying like everyone else?
