Nestled at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, the listing includes the 5 original cabins at The Lazy Buffalo. Sleeps up to 16 guests. All of the cabins have the same rustic charm but each are individually themed to capture the essence of the Wichita Mountains and history of our hometown. Ideal for groups who want to gather together but still have their own private spaces. Great for Family Reunions, Groups, and Wedding Parties. These 5 Cabins are included:* Rojo Buffalo Cabin ~ 2 queen beds* Silver Spur Cabin ~ 2 queen beds* Iron Door Cabin - 1 king bed * Chief Cabin ~ 2 queen beds* Take a Hike Cabin ~ 1 king bed, handicap accessibleBarn wood, knotty pine, and corrugated tin are used throughout each of the spacious cabins. Dark stained concrete floors and tin ceilings really add a rustic yet elegant vibe. Each of the Cabins have their own private bathroom with walk in tiled shower. After a fun filled day being in nature, wind down your day at The Lazy Buffalo. Nested at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains and just over 2 miles from the entrance to the Wildlife Refuge. Each Cabin offers a spacious walk in tiled shower. Knotty pine and corrugated tin are used throughout each Cabin. The wood tiled floors paired with the tin ceilings throughout really add a rustic touch. Each Cabin has a kitchenette area with a mini fridge, microwave, k cup coffee along, along with table and chairs. During your stay, enjoy complimentary Netflix and Wi-Fi or unplug and take in the beauty of our area. Watch as the sunsets over the plains from the long covered front porch while lounging in the wooden rockers. Each of the 5 Cabins are located under the same porch, similar to a motel style but oh so unique. Southwest Oklahoma sunsets are truly worth witnessing. Sip on a cup of coffee to get your morning started right and end your adventurous day gathered at the covered picnic area while enjoying smells from the charcoal grill. Yummy marshmallow goodness at the fire pit is a memorable way to cap off the evening or choose to relax under the stars in the back of our vintage star gazing truck, located just a short walk from the cabins. Both kids and adults will love tossing horseshoes and playing old fashion games. Toss Frisbees at the disc golf stations, drop giant checkers to make a Connect 4, create music at our interactive music wall, or team up for some volleyball action. We are always adding new outdoor activities. Don't forget to snap some memories at The Lazy Buffalo photo ops. A paved bike lane joins the property and runs throughout the Wildlife Refuge. We carried over the same rustic charm of our Cabins when designing the 2400 square foot space. Ideal for Family Reunions or Retreats. Features include a large gathering area, 2 themed bunkrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen with cooking and baking essentials, plus a one of a kind serving bar, an outdoor picnic space with fire pit, a vintage star gazing truck, old fashion games, and outdoor recreation. LIL ABOUT THE BUNKHOUSEThe gorgeous dark stained floors run throughout bringing out the beauty of the space where we used a mixture of vintage bricks and various tones of barn wood on the walls. The tin ceiling is picture worthy. The LED lighting really brightens up the space and the floors are equipped with ample electrical outlets which is a favorite of our crafting guests. We provide flat screen televisions in both the main area and both bedrooms. A quaint area off to the side has a comfy seating, cowhide rug, vintage iron stove, and an antique coin operated ride on horse. Kids will also enjoy the "I Spy" adventure while hunting for the woodland critters hidden throughout the space. Everyone will want a turn at the arcade style foosball table or beat your buddies playing card games at the poker table. Cook up a homemade meal in the spacious kitchen complete with oven & stove top, fridge with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, plus cooking and baking essentials. Whether you are serving up a special meal or kicking back with friends enjoying your favorite beverage, the bar top area named “Jack’s Mule Barn” by our grand-kids is sure to be a popular spot.
