The hotel itself is located just a mile away from Caceres which when passing through it and on the approach to the hotel appeared to be a heavily built up, semi industrial and populated area with high rise flats. On arrival it may take you a few minutes to figure out where reception is as all the signs around the hotel are tiny and far from user friendly. The rooms themselves are quite well appointed with the usual coffee making facilities, TV, a safe, hairdryer etc. There is a small mini bar but be warned it is overly expensive, for example a small bag of crisps is €5 and a small bottle of coke is €6 The staff are all very friendly, courteous and helpful In a so called 5* even in this warm climate you would not expect to find any trace of black mould in the shower/bath area. However, in our room there was and it was clear to see. Non secure parking is available in the car park, however considering the nearby surrounding area if you are on a motorbike you may want to consider booking a place in the underground garage. This is secure but even for a motorbike it will cost you €15 per night. This hotel and its grounds are vast and it has a lovely pool with a relaxing poolside bar and other quiet chilling areas. The restaurant serves very nice, well presented food and the breakfast is very very impressive. A nice hotel but typically for a 5* hotel (Really a 4* with a Spa) they have maximised every opportunity to help you empty your wallet.

Las habitaciones interiores son muy malas. No tiene desayuno y encima tiene un bar muy ruidoso debajo. Nada aconsejable. Fui a pasar unos días con mi hijo y no cabíamos en la habitación. Por las noches el bar no te dejaba dormir. Para un hotel así es mejor alquilar un apartamento o quedarse en casa.

非常喜歡這個酒店的調調。設在一棟古堡式樣的建築裏，聖誕和新年期間布置得也很有味道。房間足夠大，出了酒店就是古城商業區，吃飯購物選擇眾多，很熱鬧，但是酒店卻是鬧中取靜。酒店後方就是古城觀光區，步行可達，非常方便。

非常非常美的酒店，酒店麪積很大，位於古城中心，完全是一個改完後現代化的古堡。加了40歐升級到酒店最好的一個房間，約100平米，房間各種設施非常貼心和現代化。 酒店旁邊有一家米其林二星餐廳，165歐一人的套餐共16道菜，味道非常贊。 酒店有一個花園餐廳，桔子樹，草地環繞，非常美。

Hotel bastante cutre situado a las afueras de Cáceres, le sobran un par de estrellas tranquilamente. El mantenimiento de las habitaciones es inexistente, muebles rotos y deteriorados, paredes llenas de manchas, baño con sanitarios de los años 70. Habitación con olor extraño. Sábanas limpias, aunque con agujeros. Camas no muy cómodas. Baño relativamente limpio, aunque había hormigas; toallas también limpias. Es un hotel barato, pero no merece la pena por lo que cuesta. No volveremos ni gratis.

The Parador de Plasencia is one of those wonderful historic Paradors with cloisters, wide open spaces for walking and delightful social areas. It’s a great place to hang out and be. The rooms are well appointed , large and welcoming. Breakfast is reliably good and the bar and restaurants excellent. It’s a great place to stay the only excitement is with car parking which uses a car lift to transport you to the ground floor. SUV owners need to take care with this as the lift space is tight but doable….watch those wing mirrors! Brilliant place
