It was great to have accommodation in Carrandonagh. I remember 20212 and there was no room in the inn in fact there was no Inn. Well done on having accommodation.

Joyces is above a pub so some music can be heard but i knew that before booking, place was very clean and comfortable, plenty of places in Carndonagh to eat, recommend butterbean good choice of breakfast. Have srayed 3 times so that speaks for itself.

Brand new accommodation above a pub.
Really nicely done, very comfortable.
Plenty of street parking.
Good fast wifi .... and the biggest rain shower I have ever seen !!

Directions for how to check in were not clear. You must go into the bar and ask. Very loud techno music. Nothing authentic Irish about it. The keys to the door were extremely difficult to use. The woman who showed us to our room was very nice.

We stayed in the family room. It was so clean and the beds were comfortable. Check-in etc was all very straight-forward and the room was definitely 4* quality. It was also great to have use of the Ballyliffin Lodge facilities - a real bonus. (We ate at Jack's in the Ballyliffin Lodge both nights - superb food.)
The only downside was the noise. Our first night wasn't too bad, but there was a party in the pub on the second night and the noise continued into the early morning.
Saying that, we would stay again but probably only mid week.

Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are above a local pub which was a friendly place to grab a pint. Not too loud as might be expected.
