法古斯飯店 - 艾康(Hotel Fagus by Aycon)

I had quite a mixed experience at this hotel so am going to do pros and cons. PROS: Great location, the rooms have powerful aircon, the hotel itself is very clean and feels new, great wifi and the staff working at breakfast were lovely. CONS: Our check in experience was a weird one, the receptionist did not make us feel welcome and wasn't very friendly, which was a bit jarring after travelling for so long. Our check out experience was even worse, we were charged for staining the towels (i have hair dye in my hair and when i wash it, the water comes out pink and it drips pink) the hair dye got on the towels which i was aware of but assumed it would come out as it does on all of my towels at home, I don't know why it didn't when the staff washed them. The staff knew about this problem days before we checked out yet didn't tell us the stains didn't come out in their wash so it ended up being quite a few towels we had to pay for. If they had told us about this the first time it had happened, I would have just used my beach towel to dry my hair and we could have avoided being charged so much. It was also interesting as one of the towels they give out to guests for the pool, did have stains on them. Our bedsheets also were not changed the first 5 days we stayed. It is such a shame we had such a negative experience with the reception staff as this hotel has so much going for it.

I chose this hotel because of it's location and parking option, and also indecatatedon the reservation form that we're coming with a car. we got to the hotel for the end of our vacation and the lady at the reception told us that there wasn't an available parking, and we can park on the stereet or at the TQ PLAZA parking for 15 EUR a day... a day after, another recepcionist (a guy) told us that after we come back afternoon - we'll have a parking space. at the next morning, the lady came to me during breakfast and told me that I need to pay for the parking - 5 EUR, I was very surprised, since it wast the first time I heard about payment. she started arguing with me that she told me about it when we cheked in - but she didn't! I hava a lot to say about her co-workers at the reception too, bit it would be a long story... eventually, we regreted picking this hotel, cause the water in the shower weren't hot enaugh and there was also a plunge at the sink, the breakfast was o.k - not more than that. The only good thing were the location, the pool and the bed... AVOID!

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days in early May on bed & breakfast. The hotels’s location is good & central to most things Budva has to offer. The staff all seemed polite and eager to offer assistance when needed. Although on our arrival I advised the receptionist that the tv remote need batteries ( we needed the tv to activate wi fi ), it still need fixing when we retuned a few hours later. The safe also need batteries fitting but were already in place just needed fitting which I did myself, perhaps we were the first guests in the room at the start of the season ! The room was good with a comfortable bed ( two singles pushed together ) modern bathroom ( shower only), small fridge ( again this needed switching on ) and a small balcony with a city view. The tv had international Chanel’s but only 2 or 3 English ( mainly news ). The room was not cleaned on one of the days during our stay. Only 4 hangers for clothes and not a lot of space for 2 cases. The breakfast was simple but adequate, always fried & scrambled eggs, sausage, cold meats, cheese, cereals, bread, coffee, tea and juices with a selection of cakes. Some options changed daily. Croissants only available on the first morning ! The un heated swimming pool looked out over to the sea but very little space for more than a few people to sit close by if the weather allowed, no sun lounges only a hand full of chairs. The Spa although advertised was not open. I think the hotel was very good value for the price we paid but it is not one for sun bathing around the pool if that is what your after but close by to everything in Budva including the bus station for local trips etc. Nice Boutique style city hotel.

Hotel w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji,10 minut spacerkiem do starego miasta.Sam hotel czysciutki,pokoje sprzątane codziennie.Obsluga hotelu pierwsza klasa,pomocny personel,uprzejmi kelnerzy.Hotel i jego załoga godny polecenia.

Budva is a beautiful place and this lovely hotel is in a great location. The Staff are really friendly and the hotel has all the facilities required. All the local restaurants and boat excursions are a short walking distance away. Thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The good bits...Great location very quiet but near bars,restaurants and clubs. Very clean hotel,modern,friendly polite staff,nice rooms with mini bar,TV,lovely bathroom with free toiletries,free aircon and safe,small balcony with table and chairs, Lovely breakfast area with outside terrace too,bar, Good selection of continental foods cheeses,meats,fruit, Hot food too scrambled eggs,poached eggs,sausages,chips,fish fingers and kalamari. Not so good... the rooftop pool is drained on 30th September even though the 10days we were there was in mid 30s the whole time. The owner not very friendly didn't respond the 2 times I said good morning But overall a lovely hotel close to old town and beach.

4 night stay in Budva for the first time. The big plus of this hotel is location. 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 to the old town. Plenty of bars restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel room very pleasant, modern decor and cleaned every day. Small balcony with chairs and table which was nice to catch a bit of sun. Never used the pool only a small seating area round it, the seating area not particularly inviting. Reception was efficient but in general staff were quite dour. Not much of a smile. The reception and breakfast were quite soulless and the food at breakfast was only adequate. The cooked options were very oily and limited. We would recommend this hotel for its location and bedrooms but the rest needs a bit of tweaking. Budva was a fabulous resort to stay in
