Essence Peregian Beach

We booked 3 nights at this “beach resort”. Amongst other impressive descriptions it was promoted as “Ideal for couples on a short getaway.” To our disappoin**ent our room and “private balcony” overlooked the next door supermarket car park, loading dock, trolley return bay and garbage bins. We were woken in the early hours each morning to the sounds of trucks reversing and bins clanging. The supermarket customer cars parked directly in front of our room and could see onto the balcony and into our room if the curtains were not drawn. The 2 on-site pools are the size of postage stamps, we did not see the pool bar open during our stay and the “on-site signature restaurant” is a cafe outside the resort in the shopping centre. The cafe also overlooks the car park, a portable refrigeration container and is a public thoroughfare to the busy roadway that runs alongside. This was most definitely not an ideal couples getaway. So, my advice is “buyer beware”. The reality of this particular experience was not as described.

I recently stayed in a hotel room at Essence Peregian Beach. The location is great - right across the road from the main shopping and restaurant area and directly beside a lovely grocery shop and cafe. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk. The room was spacious and well appointed and the staff were super friendly and helpful. My room faced South and so I got no sun on my balcony. It was fine for the time of year but I would be seeking a sun filled room for my next stay. Many of the apar**ents face north and north east but I’m not sure if any of the hotel rooms do.

Peaceful, serene and beautifully situated. Everything you could possibly imagine within walking distance. This was a family gathering and we booked one of the 3 bedroom homes. Lots of time spent by the pool and pool bar which was an excellent location to see the sunset. Staff were very friendly and on hand to assist with advice.

Last minute decision to have an overnight stay in the beautiful Peregian beach and only wish I could have stayed longer. Essence is a stunning new resort with attention to detail second to none. From the welcome at reception to the beautiful decor in both the corridors and room, can’t wait to return

Essence was just beautiful, the staff are incredible, the decor gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, worth every cent. And position on the Sunshine Coast was fantastic, Perigean Beach is nice and quiet with heaps of food and drink options, thoroughly recommend it!!!!

Was amazing place, good service, Thanks for the welcome. The sunrise was perfect, the ubication is excellent near the IGA, Pharmacy and others. The gym and pool is perfect and peacefull. Totally relaxing. I recomend it. I hop come back soon.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the resort is well laid out and central to lots of amenities. Restaurants and bars are just a few minutes walk away. We particularly enjoyed the pool, and the rooms were great too. Great place for a stay near Noosa

Outstanding. Everything about Essence surpassed our expectations. Brilliant location, great service, great amenities and amazing accommodation. The 4 brm home we stayed in was excellent- spacious, comfortable, extremely well designed and well equipped. Top location with everything you need a walk away. Pools are lovely - perfect temperature and a bonus having pool towels to use. We couldn’t speak highly enough of essence.
