Sehr gute Lage und angenehmen

This hotel is very nice in every respect, in its location, services. The breakfast was good, too. But there is a problem. No car, no taxi, can stop to load or unload a passenger in front of the hotel, due to road restrictions. Thus, if you have luggage, you have to carry them yourself for about 2 blocks, at the nearest permitted point, in order to arrive or depart from the hotel.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut - mitten in der Altstadt. Wer die Altstadt schon einmal besucht hat, weiß, dass es mitunter sehr laut sein kann. Unser Zimmer lag zum Fluss hinaus. Dort verläuft zwar eine Straße, aber das war alles erträglich. Wer also ein Entspannungshotel sucht, ist hier fehl am Platze - wer nah am Zentrum unterkommen möchte, genau richtig. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Excellent emplacement pour cet hôtel situé dans le centre historique de Bucarest accessible pour une porte à l'arrière du bâtiment. Chambre grande et confortable, très bon petit déjeuner, personnel très professionnel et sympathique. Nous ne manquerons pas séjourner au Concord Old Bucarest lors d'un prochain séjour.

Veldig imøtekommende og hjelpende betjening. De gjorde alt for at vi skulle ha en fantastisk opplevelse. God frokost. Ligger midt i byen. Kortvei til det meste. Anbefales.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage von Bukarest (Altstadt)

Perhaps this hotel used to be better, but the service is terrible and the hotel itself is rundown. DO NOT COUNT ON THE AIRPORT PICK-UP. The pick-up didn't show up, and the hotel didn't answer the phone. When I asked why they didn't answer the phone all I got was, "I couldn't here you" (A lie, the phone was never picked up) After informing the hotel of a very overpriced taxi ride the hilarious response was, "That's bad." The towel was so horrible, more pilly than you can imagine. Thankfully it was just one person because the tiny blanket was also laughable. There is a loud booming nightclub nearby, so it's difficult to sleep. Don't waste your money here, it's not worth it.

Nice hotel with friendly staff in a convenient location. Very loud at night though so bring ear plugs.

I checked in and asked if I could have a room that didn't face the road because I was a light sleeper. The receptionist - a nice chap called Bogdan - told me that I didn't have a room facing the road, but I was in a room that overlooked the old town - room 210. He told me that the room was loud and he wasn't wrong. At the end of the street on each side were pubs that blasted our music until 2-3am. Slept with silicon ear plugs and you could still hear the music it was that loud. I spoke to the front desk around 2am and they said they couldn't move me as they were fully booked. In the morning I complained to the front desk. The guy told me he was new but he'd already had 3 complaints from guests that had similar problems. Don't bother staying there if you want a rest. The hotel should be letting people know about this in advance of staying. I asked the manager to contact me and they haven't bothered.
