1. Internet did not connect in my room for 12 hours. 2. We stayed for 2 nights: TV DID NOT WORK AT ALL.1st night the man gave the papers to me and asked mt to follow the instruction. 2nd night, the lady did come to my room and made ap phone call to the TV company. It could not connect!! 3. People were talking very loudly in the lobby 4. Smallest bathroom ever I have seen in the US!! 5. Name is bed and breakfast: in the name of breakfast, a few cold food items!! Worst experience. We go every year for Marathon.

The associate at the front desk moved are car and didn’t tell us where he put it. When we found it we were blocked in by another car when trying to leave after checking out. He put the car in a tiny garage and the entire passenger side of the car was scratched and the door lock no longer works. This is unacceptable.

Helpful reception, nice building and decor, creaky bed and windows a bit drafty, on my 1 night it sounded like kids bouncing off the floor above until about 4 AM, luckily for me I am a good sleeper, I think that's down to bad luck as others seemed quiet as was the street at night. Breakfast left out good for price

Great location on Beacon steps from both C and D lines of the MBTA. A lot of self service but front desk is only a phone call away. College student manned the desk (very nice) but we were on our own after hours. Old building so don’t expect a luxury hotel. We spent 3 days so we were little disappointed that heat appeared to be turned way down (off.) during the day. We will stay again because of the location and price.

Quaint, charming and fairly quiet, but … ＞ Online info doesn’t mention that the reserved room may be up 4 flights of narrow stairs, difficult when you’re 75 and your bag is heavy. ＞ Toilet not flushed and cleaned after last guest. Moldy toilet plunger set next to toilet left icky imprints on floor. No vanity, so no place to set toiletry case despite room for a stand. No disposable glass in room or bath. ＞ Used paper hand towel under edge of bed. ＞ No printed instructions to enable cable TV access. TV has limited channels. ＞ Online info doesn’t mention you must let them take possession of your car keys when you reserve paid parking so that they can move it if another guest is blocked and wants out of the alleyway spaces. ＞ Venetian blind broken. ＞ Inclement weather means you might have to take the “T” two stops for food – but only if you bought a mass transit “Charlie” card in advance (no cash accepted) and want to wait in the cold. ＞ Radiator next to bed clangs when heat comes up (4:30 – 6 AM) and valve is leaking on hardwood floor. Putting trash can underneath means constant drip-drip-drip but my conscience wouldn’t let me let it go into the downstairs ceiling. No way to adjust heat except to open window. ＞ Small doorstop embedded in floor is a trip-and-fall hazard. ＞ Door doesn't fit frame so deadlock is iffy. ＞ Internet and WiFi unreliable.

An interesting property, with a notable lack of soap in the room (and no one present during morning hours to give us any or explain why we didn't have any). I find soap to be important.

Its a house and it seems they made the living room a bedroom and ect. I didn't have a great experience because it was COLD and I asked the front desk to please heat the place up, nothing. Also the showers and curtains seemed they needed to be cleaned. The front area smelled like garbage and wanted to just check out. They also kept my 10 dollars and haven't been refunded yet? I called and they said it should be returned soon?I would have rather spent my money on a Hilton.

AVOID. In this day and age, wifi is like running water. This overpriced spiffy spot is a very poorly attended Boston-adjacent dump that did NOT provide that. I could not watch TV on their cartoonishly large flatsrceen after 10 pm. Some do not need that. I paid for it, did not get it, and no one was there of the two next mornings. I asked a overnight fellow, a student, she affirmed. No wifi, she could not do her work. I will never return, unless you pay me a HUGE [explitive]ton of money. Which they will not. I regret ever paying so much money to something so awful in the past ten years. There you have it. AVOID.

It was not a good experience, very dirty. I was there for five nights and the room was cleaned only once and that is because I asked to have it cleaned.
